We waited almost for an hour to get our meal (pasta), no burgers no shrimps... apparently they were "full" and didnt expect the... "high volume of people" eventhough it has half empty (around 12:45pm) ... food was ok but the general experience was very bad. Read more

Poor service, no follow up after plate delivery?. Had to interrupt server from playing with her phone to ask for peanut butter.... When it came was open container with as much on the outside as inside. Just so you know, Kraft peanut butter packets areessential breakfast condiment! Poor tipping will result with the use of anything else. Read more

Very historical surroundings, built 1908. However, food was expensive and not very good. The mens' restroom was very dirty. ... The interior and exterior of the hotel should have a good paint. It is truly an icon for the town but it is a shame that theexterior, in particular, is so shabby and uncared for. The food should be excellent but it's not. Very disappointed. Theserver was pleasant. Would not go back there. Read more

Party of 4 went for breakfast onJuly 31,2022 Ordered ,after an hour, 2 of the 4 meals arrived. One was fine, the other not so... and the other 2 meals never did arrive. They tried to give us 2 meals they said were ours, but we did not order those meals.Waitresses are very unorganized and unapologetic and avoided eye contact. Worst experience ever! Read more

We went for breakfast, but it was after noon already. So we had to have lunch instead. My husband had the Monte Cristo sandwich... with a bowl of clam chowder. He says everything was great. I hadn't tried the Canadian favorite Poitine yet & we are headingback to the States in the morning. They were actually pretty good. I also had to try a Bubble Tea, since I hadn't tried that yeteither. Both items were delightful! The server was great, they just had one cook, so getting our guys took longer than normal.Other than that, everyone was wonderful! Read more

We love this place for a good breakfast. Came here 3 years ago, still needs some TLC but that apart, it's an old historic hotel... and it's still serving the community and the tourists(us). It didn't disappoint, if you want a proper Canadian breakfast comehere. The portions are very generous but you can get a take home box for anything you can't eat (we did). It's pricedaccordingly, if you're in a rush don't bother, everything is cooked to order and takes time, oh and did I mention the neverending cups of coffee....it's great try it. We're from the UK and will probably be back next year! Read more
