Went to this dennys location last night had to wait 10+ minutes to be seated and during the time standing there waiting to be... seated the server saw us and turned around and all the while the restaurant was empty except for 1 table.my family and I werestill standing there waiting so we used the service bell up front and still waited another couple minutes and finally get seatedbehind the other table because for some reason the rest of the seating area was closed? We sat down and the server disappearsfor a couple minutes and comes back to take our drink order and forgets her note pad so she comes back and we order our drinksand one of the drinks was a cake batter milkshake and the server proceeds to tell us that she doesn?t know how to make one sothe drinks are going to take awhile. During the next 20 minutes we observed the staff of this location goofing off and obviouslyhad no interest in doing their jobs. The other table that was seated behind us commented on this and pretty much just asked thatthey do their jobs and the server immediately says if you don?t like it feel free to not come back . After hearing that andstill waiting on drinks we decided to leave and go somewhere else. Worst dining experience ever. To make it worse the othertable was basically told to leave or the police would be called on them just simply because they weren?t happy with the lack ofservice they were getting. Read more
Family get together. First time for Denny's in Merritt. Service was slow to get started but improved with time. Food came hot... and what we ordered was good. Very reasonable pricing. We enjoyed ourselves. A big thank you to the staff !!!???? Read more
One of the worst experience.Coffee was too old and cold but she warm it up in microwave but still taste bad.Eggs were burnt and... order was wrong. Pancakes was super cold.so dirty. Don't waste your time or money. Definitely feel sick after that food Read more
Update, we all ended up with food poisoning on our first day of vacation. Will be following up directly with the restaurant... ???? Worst experience ever. Service was slow. Hash browns were burnt on the outside raw on the inside. The eggs were burntas well. The food came out with out our bacon and when we were almost done the waitress said it would be ready in a coupleminutes. My son felt sick 15 minutes after he ate only a 1/4 of his meal and had to run to the washroom to get sick. Thisrestaurant is very poorly run and the staff need training or some sort of directions. The washrooms were filthy. don?t wasteyour time here go to the home restaurant. Read more
After a long wait, we were told my son?s order could not be fulfilled. We changed the order and the fries looked and tasted as... if it had been fried the day before. The toast was clearly prepared using a very greasy and dirty toaster. The same fulfillmentproblem napped with our dessert. Read more
Worst service ever! Waitress had zero interest in being a server. Seated at a table that was not wiped down thoroughly, could... see crumbs under the salt and pepper tray. Food took forever even though it wasn't busy....I can see why it wasn't! Chefs randthe bell for our food to be served..and 15 minutes we were served food so cold butter wouldn't even melt slightly on pancakes,cheese on the eggs that had been melted was hard. Hashbrowns had so much salt it was like a salt lick. Would have mentioned itto the waitress but they didn't return...had to stand up and flag them down to pay the bill. Read more
Not as busy as usual took a bit to get seated, but once a server arrived we had our drinks and order placed. Guess they were... short servers, some phoned in sick. Our server was great and did her best to keep us happy and feed. Read more
