I had a far better experience at this mr. Mikes than others. Seated quickly, food came quick, waitress was nice. I ordered a... rib eye and med rare and it came well done.. not sure what steakhouse can?t probe their steak to temp. Their rib eye is abigger cut so it should give the cook more leeway to get it to proper temp. I wasn?t offered to have the steak re done but I?mweary of sending any food back, never know what goes on behind the scene. Despite the the steak being overdone it was stillgood. We had the pleasure of stopping in during a stay in Merritt and we must say, it was a fantastic experience! Our server was... amazing - super upbeat, attentive, personable, and checked on us a number of times. The food was super. The steak was cooked asordered, the fries crispy and tasty. Our beef dip was to perfection. The only small complaint was perhaps the veggies weren?tquite as perfect as we?d like. Small detail, small complaint. Overall a great 5-star experience. Read more
Food was pretty good. The service staff seemed quite inexperienced and directionless. Took a long time to get seated despite the... place being about half full. Told our server we had a long drive ahead of us and speed would be appreciated. We did not see heragain until we asked for the bill. Food was not terribly slow to arrive but certainly not fast, we had no cutlery when it came,and had to ask the manager who ran our food for refills on our pop. Again, restaurant did not appear busy. This wasn?t here when I stopped by Merritt in the summer of 2020. After I charged my car at the supercharger, I came here for a... bite. Good atmosphere and selection of beer. I had the 8 oz NY strip gaucho style. I liked the chimichurri and the garlicParmesan fries. But the meat quality is not as good as places like the Keg. Read more
If there was an option for a -4 star that is what I would rate this place. Started off great then the meal came.....no cutlery,... raw veggies, over cooked meat. Then trying to get utensils or the meal corrected ended up being such a hassle. Waitress forgotabout our table. Waited for a refill for over 15 mins. Meanwhile watched the waitresses walk by our table numerous times. Askedfor a couple of glasses of water, again waited a ridiculous amount of time for it. When the corrected meal finally came everyonein our party had completed their meals and the person ate alone. When trying to raise these issues with the manager, she wasVERY dismissive of the concerns and interrupted with the excuse 'oh um our kitchen is short staffed'. Saying it had horribleservice would be an understatement. Salt and peppers were empty, asked for another set, asked a second time to adifferent waitress, only to receive them after all meals were eaten. Oh only after issues were raised and corrected meal cameout, were we asked how everything tasted (but only for the one plate). Read more
Super awesome place! Friendly staff, they have cards and board games for you to enjoy! And awesome stuff for the littles. Great... menu options, (both adult and kids) My bacon cheese burger and great bacon, loved the pickles and the bun but the patty was justok. Very processed feel. My daughter loved her chicken burger.
