It was my first time trying out this restaurant. I'm not sure what to think of it ... yet!!! I would like to try some other... items on the menu before I actually decide if I want to continue eating here. My long time friend wanted to eat here and so itwas a girlfriend meet up. We had a nice reunion and we were able to be relaxed and stayed awhile. We didn't feel rushed to leaveand it helped to have all you can drink drink station to keep our whistles wet. I ended up ordering one of their classic dishesshrimp and cod fish with fries and kaleslaw. It was fantastic and it wasn't gross but it was just okay to me. I'm not a fan ofthick breading because it makes the fish more mushy in texture. I was hungry so I ate anyway. The shrimp was cooked perfect butI felt like it lacked flavor. On a happy note it wasn't rubbery in texture. The overall experience was nice because of thepeeps I was with and other than that I do need to return to try at least one more time. Happy eating ????. The California Fish Grill was a great find thanks to Google reviews. This is one of my favorite lunch spots now. All of their... fish and shrimp is delicious and nicely grilled. I mostly order the Sea Bass as shown in the photo. I was nervous about aseafood restaurant in Arizona, especially one that is more affordable, but I've had nothing but great experiences every time Ivisit. I highly recommend this place to anyone who likes grilled fish. Read more
They have a variety of things to choose from but for my first time eating there I went with the fish and chips, they give you... three nice pieces on top of your fries. If I'm being honest the batter on the fish has know flavor and maybe that's for peoplewho either can't have salt or just don't like seasonings but I myself have to have flavor to my food and the fish was fried hardwitch is good but it would be awesome if it taste like something, but hey that's my taste buds go try it for yourself and let meknow how you feel about it... Is similar to Rubio?s costal grill but a different menu and better portions. Menu is large and it looks like they try to have... something for everyone with certain preferences or diets. I will definitely be back. Here you see two adult plates and two kidsmeals. Price is decent. Read more

Tried this spot out for the first time and wow. I loved the variety of protein and side options. I don't think you can go wrong... as far as what you order. I had the Ahi tuna (seared rare) with white rice and sweet potato fries. They give such a generousportion of meat, I couldn't believe that. Everything was cooked to perfection! Definitely going back. First time here and the food was amazing! We ordered the grilled giant shrimp with rice & brussel sprouts, fried calamari, and... salmon & swai combo with garlic butter sauce, and it was delicious????Everything was cooked perfectly and we didn't have to waitlong for our food to be done. Wow, very impressed with this seafood restaurant! Good variety of seafood at decent prices. And they are not stingy with the... portions and dipping sauces!
