Brisket burnt ends weren't burnt. They were tender with decent flavor but they were not burnt ends. Basically it was a plate of... chopped brisket. Place is pricey for what you get. Read more
We had a terrible experience Friday night here. The food was not great. Really that's the bottom line and why anyone goes to a... restaurant. One of the sides was really terrible and I asked if I could get something else. The cream spinach was yellow andtasted like sharp cheddar so I got Potato salad and I'm glad they switched it for me because that was the one thing that wasgood. I got burnt ends and two fo them were good out of my entire plate. The soda machine was flat and when we asked them toswitch the CO2 they informed us that it was fine. The ice cream machine was out of ice cream. The restaurant was clean. One ofthe girls working there was very helpful and friendly. I'm trying to find positives but it's a struggle. Food is very flavorful the meat easy to eat just Falls right off the bone no pulling is necessary
This has to be the worst Dickeys location possible. Placed an order for pickup for 615, food was not ready until 650pm because... they did not even start making it until 640pm. All the food was cold, made incorrectly and just plain bad. Would definitelyrecommend a different location. Read more
This my 2nd time at a Dickeys. This one is in the NW corner lot at Alma School & Guadalupe. I had the Classic Plate this... time(Brisket & Kielbasa) with sides of mac & cheese, potato salad and delicious onion strings. It all tasted great in theirsignature BBQ sauce. Service by Asst. Manager Jessica was very polite, prompt & professional(a 10 for the 3Ps). Dickeysretains my title as best BBQ in Mesa. Read more
Not impressed at all! Spent over $80 for a sandwich and 3 plates. We ordered Texas toast and got the free biscuits instead, they... also did not add cole slaw on top like I asked and paid for. Aside from that, the food was really not all that great.Disappointed and won?t return. Cost too high for quality and taste of what you get. Read more
The XL pack is a JOKE! First off, the cornbreads were ICE COLD! We had to microwave them to make them edible. The three ?medium... sides? were tiny and they even forgot one of our sides. We got medium salads and the salad was under a dressing cup so they?rebasically ?small? salads, if you could call it that. There is a photo of the side salad with a small Gatorade for scale. Weordered a bunch of extra sauces, didn?t receive those. My question is do they weigh the meat before or after they cook itbecause the portions of the meat seemed super skimpy. Not only were they cheap with the food, they didn?t give us any plates,utensils or napkins. The listing said ?Feeds up to 8? okay, maybe 8 children. 6 adults polished off this food but had to bedelicate about what we ate so everyone got some. I am still hungry. You would think that for $100 dollars everyone would havebeen uncomfortably full, not even. I will NEVER go to another Dickey?s BBQ for as long as I live. Read more
Whatever you do, do NOT order ahead for pickup. Since there is no accountability to get to your order, vs drive through where it... is timed, you will waste the better part of an evening just waiting for them to get to you. I did not rate the food as I'mstill waiting for it. I will update this review to include the food once we've given it a try. Update... missing multipleitems and the food was clearly very old. Insult to injury. For comparison. The same 5 people ate a fantastic meal at TexasRoadhouse last night. This was the exact same price. Do NOT eat at this establishment. For the exact same time and money go toa real BBQ or Steakhouse. Read more
