We stopped in on Sunday morning for breakfast around 9-ish. The wait for family of four, was minimal and we were seated pretty... quickly. Our server was very friendly and efficient. We ordered chicken and waffles, a breakfast burrito, chicken fried steak,and the special crispy rolled tacos. All plates were finished and the entire family was very happy with the food overall. I found a new favorite. Sat at the breakfast bar(out of the norm for us). And glad we did. Our server, Tori, gave us some... great recommendations and kept us served. Loved the burrito and the waffle dogs. I will be back to try some more ! Read more
Visited on a Friday around 11am. Noticed a whole youth baseball team was having brunch on the patio so I expected a wait.... Fortunately there were a few tables available inside and a seat at the bar. I chose the bar as my location for today so I couldlook into the kitchen and watch all of the action. One thing I noticed right away, it looked like the whole staff was female. Itwas really hard to tell if I was seeing all of the staff though because they were hustling! I noticed a lot of cooperation andcommunication. They're surely making some manager proud in here! As usual, I ordered the traditional Benedict as my litmustest. It didn't take too long, maybe 10 minutes and out came my brunch. It looked complete, smelled really good and thepresentation with the tater tots worked well for this level of cuisine. As usual, I cut into one of the little egg pillows ofgoodness and out came the liquid gold of a perfectly cooked poached egg. Winner! The Hollandaise tasted buttery and had alittle pinch of heat from a pinch or cayenne over the top. Definitely made my mouth happy! The tater tots were perfectly cookedand soaked up the leftover Hollandaise perfectly. Of course, if I wanted to nit pick, I would say that the Hollandaise was abit thin and should have had more taste from the lemon juice, the butter ratio was a bit off and wasn't fully emulsified. TheEnglish muffin was slightly undercooked but I liked that it was a little bigger but the eggs needed to be extra large to keepthat feel of symmetry. The Canadian bacon was not, it was ham cooled on the flattop. Nothing wrong with some flattop ham, it'sjust not Canadian bacon. The tots could have used a little more salt coming from the kitchen. But remember, I'm nitpicking. Overall I enjoyed this place, the decor is cute and the staff friendly. Decided to try this spot out after passing it so many times. The staff are wonderful as is the food. Ordered the chicken fried... steak with over hard eggs, sweet potato tots, and upgraded to banana French toast. Also got the OJ mimosa. Everything was onpoint. A lady who I assumed maybe the manager/owner was always checking in to see how everything was. The restaurant is veryclean, and although it does get busy, you won’t be waiting long. I tried the Hatch 505 Benedict because it seemed intriguing. I was definitely not disappointed on taste. If you like hatch... chilis then it’s a great option. Downside was overcooked poached eggs. I missed out on the silky runny yolks. If they had beenon point I’d rate this as among the best. Other dishes at the table were pancakes that looked great, and Chicken Fried Steakwith eggs over easy that was a healthy sized portion. His eggs were also cooked over. First time. Everything was going good. Coffee very tasty. Mimosa, very decorative with a slice 9f strawberry and a twig of... rosemary. Staff friendly and polite, thank you Samantha! However, not impressed with the food at all! Terrible. I got a simple 3egg omelet with bell peppers, tomato and cheddar. It was fine until I found a big strand of hair in my food! The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and courteous and the atmosphere was pleasant. It has a bright and cheery... ambiance that was very refreshing and the restaurant was really clean. My husband got the biscuits and gravy while I got thepumpkin French toast, and both dishes were so incredible! We would absolutely return here for breakfast or brunch. Read more
