I have more success with the store by north mountain. Today I bought 15 pupusas for a potluck. I paid what they asked and left... a healthy tip only to have a team member have hair in their pupusa. Complete embarrassment. No worries I thought, I can talk tothem about it and see if I can get some kind of credit. We were so excited to try this place out! Having all gluten free items was a huge draw for us! Sadly, our first trip will be our... last. The restaurant was dirty, it took SO long to get our food, the presentation was poor, and it was very expensive ($55 for 3people after tax and tip) for the food we received. The food itself was ok, but not very flavorful. The drinks were gross(chunky floaters we couldnt identify, maybe fruit? Looked like carrot?), and at $6 each, a big disappointment. Read more
So I was very let down by the service of this restaurant, the food was decent at best and over priced. So we order our food and... after 40 minutes I ask my waitress "where my foods at it's been 40 minutes?" (Keep in mind we are the only customers in therestaurant) I get an excuse and shortly after our food comes out. My food looks fine but it's not exactly what I ordered but I'mnot sending it back.. My mom's pupusas are slapped together and are a mess on the plate to the point you can even pick them upwithout it falling apart. The food is decent but the dipping sauce taste like someone took a gallon of water and added 1 tacobell sauce packet. I can look past the 40 minutes but the fact they slap together my mom's food is unacceptable and veryunprofessional. So needless to say I will not be eating here again nor would I recommend, there is far too much competition inthe area that I would not waste my time or my money coming here again. Read more
Friendly staff, reasonable prices and delicious food! Easy to order in English or Spanish too. If you're waiting on takeout to... be ready I definitely recommend stopping at the panaderia next-door! Overall great place if you're looking for your pupusa fix. Read more

Food was great service wasn?t. When we arrived, it was not busy at all. I got a agua and I really didn?t like it, so I asked the... server if I could change it and she said I would still get charged for all the drinks which was fine with me I wasn?t going toargue. I then order a appetizer and entrée.. 40 mins later I get my main meal.. and we didn?t have utensils or napkins, waitingand additional 15 min for those. then 20 mins after we got our entree we got the appetizer. I mentioned it to the server abouthow it was late and she just smiled and left. Also, the main sauce that comes with the appetizer, they didn?t have any moreleft. The most authentic Salvadoran restaurant in the United States! Their pupusas are warm and cheesy and VERY filling. I ordered a... three-pupusa combo and only got through half. The Salvadoran horchata is an interesting drink, tastes a bit like ripe banana andmelon. Highly recommended for foodies everywhere, this is as good as it gets! Read more
