This is a basic park, not fancy but comfortable with very pleasant people running the show. Other pluses include an excellent... park store and a very large and clean shower stall./restroom But the real winner here is the setting. It is what elevates thispark to five stars. Climb the hill to the fire station and be amazed. And, be sure to drive Hwy 65 either to or from GrandJunction. It is awesome. Read more

This is one of the most friendly and comfortable parks I’ve ever stayed at in my over 30 years of RVing! It’s not fancy,... but it’s most certainly comfortable and welcoming. The owner, “Shane” has got to be one of the nicest people I’ve evermet, and he made my wife and I feel more like we were staying with good friends rather than merely being guests at an RVpark.\n\nShane helped us to accommodate our extra vehicle and the small utility trailer it was towing in such a way that thetrailer was convenient to us yet was not in anyone else’s way. When I had difficulty figuring out how to turn on the water atour site, he was right there solving the problem in a couple of minutes.\n\nThough the park seems to have quite a number of longterm residents, it is homey, comfortable and quiet. Everyone seems to be very nice and friendly. The park features a prettycomplete convenience store that was open from around 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM most days except Sunday when its hours were somethinglike 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM. The store features fresh, made to order pizza that’s very good at a very reasonable price. Manylocals, including our son who we were visiting, stop by the store to get lunch and other supplies as the store is about the beststocked grocery store within miles. It has all of the usual convenience store stuff including 10 lb. bags of ice, milk, eggs, ice cream treats, and much more.\n\nThe restroom / shower is modern, always very clean, properly stocked, well lit and open 24hours with a push button combination lock for access during the hours when the store is closed. The sites are adequatelyspacious though not large, but our 30 ft. trailer, pickup and auxiliary SUV were easily accommodated at our site without beingin anyone else’s way.\n\nStaying there in June as we did, it can get a bit hot during the day. Our site had a very nice treethat shaded the curbside of the trailer most of the afternoon, and the nights usually cooled off enough that it was unnecessa Read more

My husband and I stayed here after a botched plan to stay somewhere else for our Honeymoon. Upon arrival we were treated like... family! Rhonda is amazing and her infectious laugh and bubbly personality immediately puts you at ease and makes the day seem alittle brighter. Every interaction with staff and ownership was kind an welcoming. We had our pups with us and found that notonly were we welcomed, the staff was sweet and made sure to love on our fur babies.. The cabins are adorable and offer abeautiful view of the mesa and a warm and comfy place to rest. The restrooms and showers are a short walk, attached to thegeneral store where you can find most camping/picnic essentials and even offer some yummy pizza! Would definitely recommend tofriends and family! Read more

Great location to explore the Grand Mesa park. I stayed in a cabin which provided great value, but few amenities. There is no... fridge or microwave, so come prepared. Toilets are a short walk away and showers are $2 for 10min, so bring singles and also atowel as those are not provided. The store is very well stocked and gas is available as well. Overall a good value if you canplan well, the staff is nice. Don\'t forget to bring a water storage container to save yourself many trips to and from the mainbuilding. Read more

We stayed in a 40 Ft class A.\nWater pressure good, electrical good, sewer good.\n\nManagement seemed very nice, and willing to... help us.\nVery nice little store at office.\n\nThey really only had 4 spots that would fit us. Two were so narrow, we couldn\'topen our slides. (See photos) None of the 4 were level enough to level our rig with 4 inch block, so we moved to a back insite.\n\nWifi was weak. Cell service for Verizon was ok. Sprint was good for first 4 days, then disappeared, absolutely gone, even with weboost. No local TV.\n\nReal drawbacks: No grass anywhere to speak of. More stickers than anything else. All thevegetation is crunchy, seriously needed watering. Zero place to walk dogs. (Also, some of the other patrons don\'t bother tokeep their dogs on a leash.) This is a small park. There are only a couple of spots reservable because there are mostly full time occupants. The parking... areas are not great but it worked out for one night. There are full hook-ups.\nThe cost was $51 and change.\nThe on site storeis stocked with essentials.\nThey have a pizza available that was decent.\n15 minutes from I70 up the canyon. Read more
