I felt like I was in another world while being led through the various dining rooms to reach my table. I now know there are 14... unique dining room in La Posta. The service was excellent. An interesting stop along highway 28 in a historic building. The decor was unique and very colorful, the entryway has a number... of tropical birds and piranha, the little gift shop had some interesting items and the service was pretty efficient for arestaurant that is suffering from staffing shortages like many others around the country. The food itself was far from the bestin the area, but if you're just looking for a quick stop in one of the most well known and historic restaurants in the area,this place is worth considering. One of my favorite places! I love their entire menu. Their 5 taco plate is always a winner. My son loves their stuffed... sopapillas. And my wife goes for their green enchiladas--stacked, not rolled (so you know they know what they're doing)! And theold building is so enchanting. As are the birds! Read more
Don’t miss this if you are near mesilla, hands down the best Mexican food I ever had. There is always good wait time so book... as soon as you reach old town, superb setup, whole restaurants feels part of a family house, with beautiful vibrant decor andsmall birds zoo. Food will be served steaming hot, you don’t have to wait much after placing your order. Drinks are good andstrong, go for the shots platter to try best of everything.
