Reviews for King Crab Shack ???? in Balch Springs, TX

It's been a while since I was there, so the other day I decided to get some catfish and shrimp, it was awful, I guess they have... new owners or something because the breading was very hard and there was no corneal in it, it was like they mixed water, flourand seasoning so basically glue then fried it, I won't waste my money again, I had to throw 2 meals away it, wasn't eveneatables. It's a shame it used to be very good, they even change the fries and they aren't as good either. I don't think theywill be around much longer if they keep serving food like that. Read more

Worst place to eat. Pricey place and food and service is not worth it at all. Fish was overcooked, shrimp was gummy and no... taste. The frozen crawfish taste like a card board. Worse part, I didn't eat the crawfish and have to pay for it. Employees havean ugly attitude. Terrible customer service. The women's restrooms were dirty, and one of the stall is so small that you cantouch the door with your face. Never ever again. I wouldn't recommend it to my worst enemy. Read more

We sat at a booth over 30 minutes and were... never waited on, while the black guy did nothing but walk around where whites girl sitting there eating behind the counter andthe black girl just sitting on a stool doing nothing, I could?ve took it better if they had a crowd but they only had 1 group inthe whole restaurant?.. Either the shrimps were over boiled or old, as they would fall apart whenever both my wife and I would peel them! They were... supposed to be Cajun, with garlic flavoring but tasted more like Garlic Salt, with too much salt! I personally Do Not Recommendeating here, and of course, we shall not be returning! I went for my daughter and nephew's birthday. It was discussed in the beginning we were on 2 different tickets.(3 on each)... Because there were 5 of us plus a 1yr old we were charged a 20%fee on each ticket totaling over $60. So we actually paid $10 perperson just to sit down smh. The sauce was super sweet and we were unsatisfied and the manager still refused to help. My onlysuggestion is if u have more than 4 people sit at different tables and if u like your Cajun sauce sweet as ???? then this may bethe place for you. Hospitality was poor upon entering the establishment; I could honestly see why they are hiring. I personally wasted 50$ on the... T1. I asked for Cajun seasonings with heat level fire. The shrimp seemed rubbery, the crab legs were most definitely overcooked, and the sauce was entirely too sweet. It was my first and last time eating there and I love seafood. Read more

First time coming here and I give it ?????. Crab legs were so good. The shrimp are huge! Good food and great service. Our server... was very attentive, he kept checking up on us to make sure we were good. Definitely recommend if you like seafood and if youdon't mind getting your hands dirty. The kids liked it too.
