Nothing to complain about. The chips and sauce were good. Food did not take long to get to us. I loved my food, when I read... that it was a bolio bun i thought it was going to be hard but the buns were soft which for me made it so much better. Beans andrice were good nothing to complain. A good restaurant in Mesquite to enjoy a cold margarita and a Mexican meal. Food is always good at best. My only comment would... be on the margaritas. I would expect a garnish or a slice of pineapple on a $9+ pineapple margarita, not just the salt? Read more

I looove a good ole Mexican meal and OTB comes through every time. This one was the best I've had. The salsa was fresh and... spicy and the chicken bowl that i had was really good. The staff was really nice and friendly & our waitress made sure we hadeverything we needed. This was prob the fastest service we've had at a restaurant in awhile, with the good food being a plus. We have not been to our local On the Border in some time. I had thought of it as too much Tex-Mex but not real mexican food with... things like that Chicken Tinga and their limited menu selection. Well they proved me all wrong, I was very impressed with themenu now. Things like Tortas, Fish Tacos, Smokehouse Fajitas and Avacado fries to name a few. I actually can't wait to go backand try more of their offerings. I wish I had taken pictures to share with you. They have came a long way and that being ownedby a Mexican Food Restraurant chain Argonne Capital Group.paid off and gave them more of a Tex Mex Flair than being owned byBrinker. Both great companies. UPDATE: We went back and tried some of their new offerings, fish Taco, Shrimp Cilantro Lime Taco,Carnitas w Verde sauce Enchiladas. Simply just horrible! The service was not good and very slow,I found a hair in the salsa that ain't good at all. The food was... horrible not only it looked bad it tasted bad and I have no clue how this place stays busy at all This will be the last time Iever come to this place or any On The Border in the U.S I'll add a pic of my brisket tacos and street tacos and yall judge bythe way it looks Any way I can give negative stars?
