I came here and based on the reviews and look I assumed i was gonna be good. Nope, the employee in the front was acting like... they where in a hurry and didnt get my order right the took forever to charge me, and then the donut was stale and the kolachewasn't even good. Wont be back. Read more
Delicious! Good service, love the homey feel of the building. Closes at 1PM unlike a lot of donut shops. Donuts arnt too sweet,... fluffy kind donuts. Kolaches are to die for. Jalapeño cheese kolache is my favorite. Read more

Being a Dallas native, I was always fond of the Southern Doughnuts chain. That was until I moved to Mesquite. My mind was... instantly changed upon driving to work and finding this true gem of an establishment, located right in the center of DowntownMesquite. I too support the Mom and Pop individual doughnut shops, but I have to confess that if I'm bringing doughnuts to work,or wanting something perfectly cooked, this is the place to go. Donuts have shrunk! They are smaller now and prices have increased overtime. I understand that things are more expensive thanks... to our worst president in history. But don't cut back on your quality of product or size. I would pay more if it remained thesame. But now I won't go back at all Read more
