This is a hidden gem of Matairie! This place is amazing! They have GREAT food and even better service!! I came down with a large... team for a big sporting event and we came here every morning. After a few days the ladies realized we were a sports team andstarted asking us how we?re doing in the event and it was so sweet. The atmosphere is very mom and pop shop where everyone is ina great mood and truly cares about you. The place is very clean and well set up. I haven?t been to Caffe Caffe for about 20 years when they had a Mandeville location. They still have the same good and fast... service, quality food and delicious desserts. However there doesn?t seem to be as many dessert choices now. Same great flavorediced tea. Will be back now that I?ve rediscovered it! Read more
Jan 3, 2021: I got the soup of the day, vegetable beef over pasta. Barely any pasta, barely any beef. It really should be called... vegetable broth with veggies. At the beginning of the summer, I used to love this place. There has definitely been some kind ofchange in the kitchen or with the prep staff. As best as I can describe, it's just sloppy.
