I order a king cake every year, and this time I thought I?d try Gambino?s. I?ve never received a crushed cake that isn?t already... frosted before. If I wanted to go through the trouble of making it myself, I would have made it myself and saved $50. It smellsgood, but I can?t eat it yet because I have to frost and sugar it still. Received a plain king cake as a gift. It was the worse thing ever. Not fresh, no cinnamon and the icing was scarce and... tasteless. Contacted customer service and was told next time I ordered let them know and they would see what they could do. Iasked if I could return it for something else since I don?t order from them really and was told the person who gave it to mewould have to call. Loved our wedding cakes! We chose Gambino?s for our wedding cake and grooms cake our New Orleans May 2021 wedding. So beautiful... and beyond delicious. We went with classic nola almond wedding cake with lemon and raspberry filling for our wedding cake. Thedesign was custom to match the floral pattern of the embroidery on my dress. The cakes here are beautiful! I got a cake for my birthday it was so good. The cake was extra moist and flavorful. The icing... was very good and the colors didn't have that strange taste from the food coloring. I froze it on the 19th and had a pieceyesterday and I promise it tastes even better after I thaws like all the flavors remarry and make things that much better. Read more
