FOOD from Methuen, MA. location SUCKED!!! Blooming onion was burnt (actually dark brown in color) and coconut shrimp was well... over done. My husband ordered chicken with steak. Chicken was dry but steak was okay. He ordered the "loaded potato" and nothingcame with it? No butter, no sour cream, no cheese. Just a baked potato in tin foil! It's a good Outback location. Clean, good service, food is good. I had the Strawberry Salad with grilled chicken. Really good... flavors, goat cheese, and a well portioned serving when you get the entrée. The food was, for the most part, very good. The bloomin onion was a bit overcooked, but still good. Service, however, was... incredibly slow. I figured at 8pm on a Saturday night it might be busy, but it was dead. Considering how slow it was, there wasreally no excuse for how slow or server was. We were 3/4 done eating before he came to check how the food was. It took 10minutes to get refills on our drinks, 10 minutes to get a box for leftovers, at least 10 to get the bill and even longer for himto come back for payment. Visited on a Sunday around 4pm. Service to be seated was quick but following being seated we were not met by any wait staff for... about 35 minutes. During this time we were able to pick out our entire dinners start to finish. There we 4 of us 2 adults 2children ( 12 and 9). During this time we observed many staff fooling around in the front end of the restaurant. I understandthat it was not busy but we also were not even asked about drinks or greeted by a server. We watched 4 staff coming and going totalk while 2 staff were eating at a front table. Still even while walking past numerous times, no one said a word. Our waitressfinally made her way over she must have been from the back because I hadn?t seen her yet in the mix with the other staffsocializing. She probably meant well but made comments the entire time we ate about how quickly we ate the appetizers much foodwe ordered and this was AFTER SHE CALLED MY DAUGHTER A GROWING BOY because she was wearing a hat(the hat had sparkling baby bluelettering as did her shirt that matched from Justice. She followed up by patting her like a dog and saying I?m sorry that?s justone peculiar outfit. Her service was tasteless and us hurrying to eat was to get the heck out. Having been several times I anticipated a decent meal. However tonight was not a great experience. We waited 10 minutes for he... waitress to even say hello. Then we ordered drinks and an app. All were fine. Salads came and my salad didn't have the dressingon it (typically it is tossed with a vinaigrette). We asked for more bread twice and never received it. My boyfriends salad hadvery little dressing. Our meals came and my boyfriends steak was so charred it was inedible. My steak was charred on one sidebut not horrible. (Picture below of my medium rare steak). We asked for another soda and this time they brought diet. We weredrinking regular. I was never offered another water. I asked for a manager and asked for a new steak. Never being rude or upset.They cooked another steak. This time it was a fatty steak but cooked well.
