This restaurant was a 5 minute ride from the hotel so we gave it a try. The waitstaff is really nice. They have keno. Plenty of... tv’s playing a variety. Lots of tables and a big bar. The waitress was so accommodating to my current dietary restrictions.Ordered the corned beef meal without the meat so they loaded me up on the other sides. Needed lots of salt and butter but wasvery tender. Also ordered a large Caesar with grilled shrimp. $12 for 3 shrimp.. seemed very expensive. First time at the new location. The staff was much better than our experience at the old location. Portions were kind of small... in the entrees. Kids' meal was definitely frozen chicken nuggets my daughter wouldn't eat. Friday night had live music, whichwas pretty loud. We sat near a window that was open and had a nice breeze, but I am allergic to cigarette smoke, and it waswhere everyone went outside to smoke, so we had to close it. Food was mostly great (besides the nuggets), and the beer was warm,and the sangria was not fresh made. Cheescake was good, and the whipped cream on it was great.sweet potato fries were great! Great spot for authentic Irish fare. Had the Fish 'n Chips plate tonight. Flaky white fish, lightly breaded, perfectly cooked.
First time for 6 out of 7 of us here. Very busy but only 30 min wait for a Fri night ????. Loved the atmosphere. We all liked... our meals, Cottage Pies, 4, Fish and Chips, Curry Chicken, and I had the Short Ribs served on Mashed Potatoes. My only thing isthat the Short Ribs were boneless and was just one piece of meat that was basically Pot Roast. Very good Pot Roast though. Woulddefinitely eat here again Read more
Our experience at the Irish Cottage was great! The waitress actually got my drink order incorrect and I wasn't going to mention... anything because I didn't mind. SHE actually realized her error and corrected it, which truly wasn't necessary, but it goes toshow she was paying attention. She was extremely friendly and upbeat, and moved swiftly throughout the restaurant to ensure hertables were tended to in a timely manner. I'm not sure of her name but you could tell she took pride in her work and waspleased to be serving us. We ordered Poutine to start which was delicious. It had huge bacon pieces in it, which isn't myfavorite because I'm not a lover of pork, but if you are, this was for you! For the meal I got the Turkey Gobbler Panini. I gotmashed potatoes as a side and it was also served with gravy. It was a great meal and my boyfriend enjoyed the leftovers justthe same. The girls I went to dinner with all enjoyed their meals. The atmosphere was comfortable enough that you could laughand enjoy the company you were in without feeling like you were in a quiet, uncomfortable space. Great food great atmosphere and great music. If you're looking for a nice Irish pub this is the place. Went with several... coworkers and would definitely go back. All the food was tasty and the live music was a nice touch. Place was quite crowdedwhich I take as a good sign that others like the food also. Beer selection was reasonable as we're the prices. Awesome Irish pub with delicious food! The buffalo chicken dip is amazing. The service was very accommodating and we had a large... party of 10 people and twin babies. I highly recommend them for some good comfort food and relaxed atmosphere. Read more
