Very good burgers, made better with the toppings bar, peel n eat shrimp were delicious, ice cold PBR and a great wait staff.
Stopped in after visiting the Superman store and museum. Tried the BBQ nachos, Philly, and buffalo wings. All the food was... great, served quickly and the waitress was terrific and very attentive. Fat Edd's was a nice surprise and a very pleasant stopfor us. Read more
Got the smash burger add bacon no bun. Side of fries (reminds me of McDonald's). Weird that they so two checks between kitchen... and wait staff. Paid for food at the kitchen counter and was told the wait staff handles drinks. So in the end two differentbills and made tipping Weird for the waitress with just a tea and a water for my wife. She ended up getting the smash burgerwith the slaw topping. She gave me a bite and I enjoyed it way too much! Given she was enjoying it so much I didn't want to askfor more. Many similarities to Fast Eddie's in Alton, IL. This place here takes the whole cake, just missing the live bands. Though they... could have them in the evenings. The next time I'm going down I-24, I'm making a pit stop for sure. Read more
The food was hot and good. Fair prices for the food. Everything on the menu is Ala cart, including kids food. You go up to the... counter to order and pay. They call your number so you can grab your food then a waitress takes your drink order at the tableand this is a separate order that you pay for. This was the only thing I disliked about the place. We come here every time we're in Metropolis and I understand that they we're busy. This time was different the food was great... but the lady that comes to your table to get your drink order never showed up. We were there 45 min before anyone came to theback to get our drink order, and then it was the bartender because the lady cleaning the tables asked if the server had took ourorder. The Bartender was great and as I said before the food was great. Just the server stopping and talking to everyone aroundus and not taking the drink order was rude. BARTENDER GOT A GREAT TIP!! This place has a really cool atmosphere and amazing cheeseburgers!!! They also have great pulled pork sandwiches!! The condiment... bar has fresh tomatoes, lettuce, onions, and pickles. We loved our experience here and will definitely be back to eat here. Read more
