Service was so much better than previous times I had visited there, the new staff was friendly I almost didn't go in because the... way employees treated customers in the past, very cranky, not friendly at all, but my mother wanted to dine in so I obliged,begrudging, but to my surprise there were new employees, very friendly, greated us as we walked in, very nice, not aggregated totake our order, just all around pleasant experience, I was glad I went in one last time, I had previously stopped going there toavoid being treated rudely for just placing an order, Way to go metropolis subway ,customer service was great, glad to find outthey hired ppl that enjoy interacting with others, & are not bothered to have to take an order which is there job (they got paidto do) so again I say kuddos Metropolis subway, I will continue to be a repeat customer Read more

I was only allowed six black olives for my foot long sub and when. I asked for extra I had to get it on the side and still only... received 3-4 in a side cup. She put the bare minimum of each topping and acted as if I were asking for an arm or leg whenrequesting extra toppings. Read more
it's just a subway...lol but the Lang haired dude behind the counter was pleasant but didn't have his mask on , no no no, metro... subway his helper was on her phone no help at all line behind me made me a nervous wreck didn't eat it but payed for it feed itto the trash. come on guys we can do better than this... The lady that was working on 3-5-2021 at 7pm jn metropolis IL subway needs a raise. She was by herself and the place was pack... and she kept apologizing to everyone and letting them know that she is doing the best she can. The food was great and she did aexcellent job. Read more
The employees were great at this location. One was new and learning but he was giving it his best. The experienced associate... was giving advice on how to be faster and efficient. Both did a great job. The sandwich was excellent and fresh. Why the 3stars? PRICE. Subway unfortunately, as a whole, is not a good value when compared to other restaurants. 2 people can go to asit down full service establishment and pay the same as 2 12" combos. Kudos to the employees for easing the pain of everincreasing prices. The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere, just get an affordable pricing structure.......please! Read more
I have visited this store several times over the past few months and have always received good service. When I arrived today at... about 11:15 AM there was quite a line and only two people working behind the counter, but they kept things moving along quitewell and my wait was minimal. Both counter people were courteous (everyone addressed as "sir" or "ma'am") and everyone wasthanked for their custom. The sandwiches are good and they really load them up with meat and cheese, and you can add all thetoppings you want, making them a good value. If you can catch one of the $5 foot long specials, even better. Read more
