Enjoyed an amazing spaghetti dinner here while doing a multi-day adventure on the GAP. We were blown away by the quality of the... food and wonderful service. The clam linguini, calamari, chicken parm, and tiramisu were all incredible. Cannot wait to return! Read more

Morguen Toole is no longer in business as a bar and restaurant. . The new plase isVery nice bar/restaurant place. Good food.... Nice beer selection, fun and quirky. Live music, special nights for wings and ribs. Cool rooms to rent for bike riders off thetrail or just visiting family. Adding a outside deck and seating area. One of the nicest event centers around for weddings orparties. You can tell them what you want and forget it. They will provide everything from the food and drinks to the linens anddecorations. Plus rooms for your wedding party to dress. The owners are customer focused and work their business with pride. This is a must see in southern Somerset county. They also cater and that too is top notch. If you have a event you need to givethis place a look. Read more

We stayed here on our bike trip along the GAP trail. Really fun and interesting building and our room was exactly what we... needed. Easy to access bike storage on the ground floor. We enjoyed some refreshing beverages and dinner at the pub withfantastic service from Dawn (who volunteered to help over the weekend)! The day we were there was day two of the restaurant'sopening. The staffing and organization needs a bit more polish. We witnessed several kinks that will certainly get worked out. Would definitely stay here again and give the restaurant another try too. Loved staying here with it's high ceilings and a good mixture of old building charm and new bathroom fixtures. Very... accommodating for bicyclists with a bike storage room and soon to be restaurant/bar. Read more

Went to the Maple Festival, the townspeople put on an original play with 21 original songs about the history of Meyersdale and... maple sugaring. A true piece of Americana at its finest. The festival is great, the play is a must see. America at it's best! The owners of Morguen Tool Co donate the use of their facility for the play. Excellent! Read more

Interesting place to stay off the GAP trail. The room itself was nice and it?s super easy to get in the building with the code.... In the off-season, the restaurant is closed and there is nobody around so it feels a little empty and eery. We read it was aformer mortuary but some other people we met didn?t know and freaked out. Easy access to the garage to store our bicycles. Read more

Very noisy. We drove 10 hours to find a nice quiet place to sleep. Kids were running up and down the hallway until late. Walls... are paper thin, you can hear people speak in the room next to ours. Bathroom is shared, which should be clearly stated in therental description. Would not recommend this place to anyone. There are no good places to eat in town. Stopped at a Sheetzz gasstation to get garbage fast food for dinner. Not a pleasant experience at all. Would not comeback here again. Read more

Just completed my second stay at this unique hotel. Both times I was with a group and everyone enjoyed the accommodations. ... Words that were used were unique, quirky and even spooky. Jeremy and Jill were very accommodating and the hotel caters to riderof the GAP trail. We enjoyed the bike storage and cleaning supplies. Hoping to visit again post-COVID so we can fully enjoythe restaurant. Our group gathered nightly on the outside upper deck to enjoy beverages and recount stories of the day'sadventures. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The Hoover Suite was the gathering place for my group everymorning. This 'hotel' is unlike any other I've ever visited and my words fail to capture the unique spirit of this place. Read more
