Let me start by saying that the food was amazing and the prices were very reasonable!! I highly recommend the fruity pebbles... chicken and waffles, tasted great and was the perfect portion size! However, the service was definitely lacking, sadly. We werethere early on a Sunday, before there was any brunch rush. It took a solid 10 mins and waving down 4 different servers/busboysasking for water until they finally came and refilled our water, the food also took a bit of awhile for it not being busy. Alsowas a bit disappointing that they had several different coffee choices, however, only offered regular milk and no alternatives, which I thought was a bit weird in this day and age that they didn't at least have 1 other choice, yet had an assortment offlavor syrups. First time at the Miami location. Parking is the biggest issue. For those who don't know you can Valet at the hotel/residency... attached to the building. If not, street parking is a block away. OTHER THAN THAT... the food was awesome and the views werefun. Watching the yachts pass by was so much fun. The facility is easily 3 times bigger than the Las Olas site. Very welldone. Service was great, I was there on a Sunday and ordered a Bottomless Mimosa and before mine was empty, my server Leo wason it and brought me another one! Read more

I’ve been to the American Social in Fort Lauderdale and I haven’t had any complaints but I LOVE that this location is right... on Miami River so the views are excellent. The food and cocktails are great and our server was excellent. I had the chicken &fruity pebbles waffles which was good but wayyyy too sweet in my opinion. I’ll be back soon for brunch! Read more

Really fun atmosphere overlooking the water. Live DJ, great music. Loud inside so if you’re looking to have conversations best... to sit on the patio and make reservations ahead. Cocktails are out of the world - highly recommend the Fifth and Lavender. Mahisandwich was also delish. Read more

We were really excited to try this place out because of the menu and the location. The drinks did not disappoint and the ones we... ordered were very spicy so that was great. The food was solid but they messed up certain things like forgetting the chicken inthe Mac and cheese and messing up specific requests about other menu options. They were decently busy but it seemed like theserve could have been more attentive. Read more

Father's Day out on the boat going down the river. We spotted American Social and decided to cross our fingers that it wouldn't... be too full and hopefully grab a table for 5. We docked the boat and an attendant came out to tell us exactly where to dock andit was $35.00 to dock there. When I got to the host he said there was a 30 min wait bit we could hang out at the bar. I went tothe bar and ordered a lavender drink ( can't remember the name right now) but it was delicious ???? they called us to be seatedright away. Our waiter Nicholas was amazing, he gave us the warmest welcome and was so attentive to whatever we wanted,we reallyloved his service. They were only serving brunch but it was yummy.my husband ordered the breakfast burger which had hash brown, bacon and a fried egg, he loved it.i had the hot chicken muffin sliders, highly recommended ????. Oysters were ordered forappetizer. I will definitely be coming back, I loved the vibe and the food was really good, but the service was outstanding. Thanks Nicolas Read more

What’s not to like here? This large bar sits on the Miami River, offering beautiful views especially on the evening; there are... also plenty of outdoor seats. We went inside though, as we do every time we try a new place. The interior is nothing fancy, andthe atmosphere homey in a good way; but without trying to make it fancy, they did a great job with decorations and colors. Theyhave good deals during happy hours, the make a solid Old Fashioned and an interesting cocktail was also the Fifth and Lavenderthat my wife had; it’s not overly sweet, it’s flavorful with a nice flowery scent. Service was good, vibe was verycomfortable and it’s pretty much a very nice bar, with good cocktails and a killer view outside. Like I said, what’s not tolike? We’ll be back at our next trip to Miami. Read more
