Had a friend take me here today for lunch! I was impressed with several items; sauces and local condiment selection is amazing.... The staff is very polite and informative which speaks to its leadership being amazing. Goodness the burger, hotdog and frieswith chorizo and cheese…oh man my belly button wanted to explode from not wanting to stop indulging in the flavors thisestablishment has put into their dishes. So my better 1/2 took me out for an early lunch today & we ended up at a meat/deli shop, with their specialty being smoked... meats. Being a meat lover, I was ready to indulge. Nice smokey meat aroma opened up my smelling senses when I opened the door toenter the establishment. A quick review of the menu board & a smoked meat sandwich it was for me & a burger for my better 1/2with a side of poutine to share. Checking out their beer selection, had to go with the shiner bock. Service was exceptional,friendly, informative & courteous. We had the option to stand inside by the counter or sit outside & enjoy the weather, outsideit was. Food arrived and down it went. Meats were flavorful, cooked perfectly and mine had the needed smokiness. Breads werefresh & made the sandwich & burger all the better. Poutine hit the spot, with the cheese curdles & the gravy was on point. Gotsome meats to go after eating & we'll be back again for another round of meats. Read more
Ordered the Montreal Smoked Meat sandwich and had it ruebenized. The meat is peppery, Smokey and delicious. They use a pickled... sauerkraut which was excellent as well. Need a snack?! The fried pork rines were fried fresh, they were crispy and had a greatseasoning on them. Heck they were still popping in the bag when I received them. What a great place for a local eat. It’s a great location doe the best ever hamburger and pastrami on rye…. The young man that served us was quite personable.... We will definitely visit again. They also have a great selection of prime meat selections. Read more
I don’t say this often, but probably the best burger I’ve had in a long time. Not to greasy, but so much flavor, crispy and... just an overall amazing burger. I’m excited to try the French fries next time too. ;) Read more
