Inside of empandas were cold, cuban toast was not toasted with unmelted globs of butter and I ordered two... coffees, one with sugar another with splenda, they didn't differentiate so no idea which was which. I've worked in the food industry showed up over 45 minutes prior to them closing walked inside was treated with attitude and... when I asked to place my order they told me they close their kitchen an hour prior to closing for the day. Very bad quality and terrible experience. Placed online order (just $25 bucks worth total of toasts and empanadas) through their... own website which gave an estimate of 15 to 20 minutes to be ready. I arrived 20 minutes later hoping to get in and out quickto pick up my order which had already been paid in advance with 20% tip. The place was not busy, my order was not ready and theyapparently didn?t have my ticket printed to prepare it. I patiently waited while they prepared it. they actually found an itemfrom my order laying around which had actually been prepared, but by then it was cold and I had to ask for it to be warmed up. The staff dealing with me was not friendly or apologetic at all. She hurriedly handed me a bag and told me everything wasthere. I decided to check and sure enough I was missing an item. Staff member again not very friendly at all even though theplace was not busy. Upon getting home to enjoy the food I found that they gave me the wrong type of empanadas and the ones thatwere correct tasted horrible the ham and cheese empanada had absolutely zero cheese and was completely dried out. Also itemswhich I had paid for optional extras like extra butter which they charged me $0.50, came without any butter whatsoever. When Ireturned to the bakery 20 min later to try and kindly address the issue, the same staff member was equally unfriendly,immediately cut me off as began to walk her through the receipt and uneaten items which were wrong per the receipt or visiblyunappetizing. She turned away mid sentence, popped into the back area, came back out front, and said the manager would begiving me a full refund for my entire order (including the items I had no issue with, something I didn?t even ask for). I have been going to this bakery since they opened up. They started off AMAZINGLY, unfortunately, the last three times has been... a total disappointment. My husband and i kept saying, maybe it?s just a bad day, but, apparently that?s not the case. I orderedthree guava pastry and eight ham croquetas, one guava and cheese pastry and two cheese. Let?s just say that the picture postedis the pastry that has the MOST guava in it. It?s more a dough pastry. Just a thin layer of guava. REALLY??! Unacceptable to us.(O even asked the young lady helping us to pick the ones with lots of guava ????) The ham croquetas (although I asked to havefresh ones made and was told they had just been made) they were soggy, lots of breading and less ham. We had to put them in theair fryer when we got home. The others, we just threw away. We will not be back. The quality I used to rave about with thisbakery is no longer there. Disappointing to say the least. I will say that the service is still good. LOVE their pastry?s. They have so much filling inside!!! Which is a plus considering the fact that some bakery?s don?t put much.... I put 1 less star because my only CON is - I wish their heating lamp was a bit strong. I went by in the morning around 10am andthe pastry?s I got were room temperature instead of being a lil warm.
