So, I get it... the idea behind the theme is food from the Colombian heartland. Very humble food w basic flavors. BUT, it... doesn't have to be this bare basic. I paid $10.50 for a plate of pollo en salsa. Or pollo guisado, or pollo hervido, boiled, orsomething... easily the worst chicken plate I ever had. Note for owners: If you use old or spoiled meat, it will still smellbadno matter how you cook it...And that was $10.50 thank you!. Maybe Saturdays is not their best day, I don't know. But I doknow this, the food does not represent Colombia... sorry, you got my 10.50, but you won't get one more single penny or the newclients I would send your way... Read more

If you are having cravings for some Colombian food and flavors this place is good... but not all the dishes are tasty. Just our... experience. My husband ordered a chicken soup that was tasteless, it has a nice drumstick in it but not taste at all. The"empanadas de carne" (meat pastry) are good and we often buy them. The meat/rib soup is very tasty we like but the quantity isquite small and we wish it was a bit bigger (the actual soup cup) they give rice with it on the side. They also close early. I?m Mexican but that doesn?t stop me from saying that I think this place is amazing! Love the customer service and the food! I... thought that the food would be horrible but I was mistaken. I?m stayin at the YVE and while i?m staying here I will eat hereeveryday. If you guys wanna eat for breakfast eat the chicken if it?s ready. Really good seasoning. For lunch I got empanadasthey were also good. If you get bread get the Bono Pan because in my opinion it?s good. Overall this restaurant deserves a 5star for the customer service and food. Good food terrible service at the cafeteria. Ladies always in bad mood, do not greet the customers, work as low as they can,... give attitude to everyone, if you ask for something they look at you pretty bad and they do not give change fast because thepaper on the register is over although the transaction was completed and the machine open. They have a delicious Chorizo with Arepa Paisa. I just had to re-order for a second time. Great service and amazing prices!
