I'm going to try to make this as short as possible. After weeks of research I decided to go with Don Paella because of all the... wonderful reviews. I called and spoke to a gentlemen who was very pleasant and professional. He guided me the entire way andeven suggested some things that would benefit me financially which was refreshing. The day of the party, the cook showed up, anolder man. He was very professional and we spoke and had open communication which was great. My issue was that although Iestablished communication with him it was not reciprocated. Here are my issues and because of these issues I will NEVER orderfrom Don Paella again. 1. Food was served cold. We were shooting for a specific time to serve and it was cold. 2. Food hadZERO salt or flavor. When I asked the chef he told me that he cooks with little to no salt. Once again he NEVER communicatedthis to me. 3. Last and biggest issue was that there was never a follow-up call. They collected my money and that was it. Ifyou decide to go with Don Paella make sure you ask all these questions. I'm only writing this review to bring light to thesesmall but important issues. Thank you. Read more

Prior to reserving, I had read previous great reviews about Don Paella and let me tell you they do... not disappoint at all from the moment of first phone call , customer service, booking , food prep and execution. I had abirthday party on 10/16/2021 w 40 guest. We were very fortunate to have ?La China? cater which is soo highly recommended fromreading previous comments, she is OUTSTANDING ! She went above and beyond to make my mothers surprise birthday party spectacular. Aside from being professional, puntual, well organized , beautiful presentation and delicious paella she is very welcoming ,charming, charismatic, she definitely knows how to interact and handle a big party .Her service feel Very personal andfamiliar with everyone she engages with and makes the homage person feel unique . Thank u La China y Don Paella for suchwonderful service, making my mother?s birthday unforgettable, you?ve definitely left a print on that night. . Don Paella communicated well via phone and text. We had to reschedule the Paella Valenciana for 30 people because of weather.... ?La China? was the on-site chef, self sufficient, fiery personality. 2 hour cook time. Timing was precise, all the guest enjoyedit. The maduros are a must have, sweet and cooked to perfection. The seafood was fresh, seasoned just right. Happy to recommend. Read more
WOW! THANK YOU 'TEAM DON PAELLA' FOR A FABULOUS 4TH OF JULY FEAST!! You made our party a delicious success! We hired Don Paella... Catering for our 4th of July party, and could not be more impressed with the professional service, delicious food, andexceptional experience! Youry was so helpful and always answered my husbands many phone calls, emails and questions. Talk about'Dinner and a Show!' Augustin, Pedro and their associates were incredible! They arrived on time, set up without an any issues ordelays, went straight to work and made us a fabulous Lechon, Paella de Mariscos, Paella de Pollo, Moros, y Plantanos, all ofwhich were prepared to perfection and on time, for our 40+ guests. Everybody loved the food and the presentation. After thedinner was served, they wrapped all the leftovers neatly in aluminum containers. We also hired 3 servers through Don Paella, andthey were professional, friendly, hard working and extremely helpful with everything, from set up, to service, to cleanup...what a great team! We rented tables, chairs, linens and silverware through Don Paella as well, all of which were deliveredand retrieved efficiently. (The serving team set it all up, and helped me throughout the evening, bringing platters into/out ofthe kitchen, emptying trash cans, keeping tables neat, and serving our guests. They were awesome!) We highly recommend DonPaella for any event, party, or family gathering that you have. The value, service and professionalism were exceptional, and thefood was incredible!...generous in amount, beautifully presented, and prepared by a friendly, gracious and professionalteam. We didn't have a covered outdoor area for them to cook under, but we provided a pop-up tent that worked out just fine.Our guests loved watching the cooking process and left with full bellies and full 'to-go' tins...plus we had more than enoughfood left over for ourselves too. Tony was great. He arrived early and set up a nice wedding style paella. All my guests loved the flavor and he used lots of... seafood. He was very personable, polite, and kind to everyone. He made a separate meal for the groom who has many dietrestrictions for his health, which made the celebration something he was able to enjoy too. People there collected his businesscard and I highly recommend him to everyone! Read more
