The waitress, Jasmin C tried to scam an additional tip from us by saying the 18% service charge did not include the tip, which... is false. The food is mediocre, but the service is worst. Plus they have a lot of failed food safety and hygiene inspections Read more

El Guacalito is a hidden gem for Nicaraguan food in Miami. The food is top quality with amazing flavor, and good friendly... service. The carne asada was tender and full of flavor, tostones and tajadas were crispy with a good thickness thatcomplemented well the queso frito & ensaladita and last but not least the fish was flaky and juicy. Definitely recommend! Read more

This place is BIG and well set different decor good ambiance great service this time I only tasted La Picada and the Tostones... con queso frito.....the wings in la Picasa were HOT the carne asada didn't feel like carne asada more like bistec....liked thetostones, yuca frita and pig. The salad with the boiled yuca was nice and crunchy and the yuca was soft can't go wrong withmaduros as is cut or unbag and fry. But the frijoles (beans) were not the Nicaraguan flavor I am accostumed.....tasted morelike canned frijoles. Now the music Looooved the set up of the TV but the music is a tad too loud for the place when you havethe bass crackling at the end its tome to lower the volume music is to be enjoyed not to hurt your ears. Besides in a restauranthaving dinner with family talking is always a thing.....Now to finish I am wondering how and who will clean the forest in thewalls and ceilings....over all will be back to taste the rest of the food and give you an update..... Came on a Monday night an hour before they closed, it was pretty empty. That being said, our server, Alan was amazing! Food was... great and the music created a cool vibe. I’m definitely coming back on the weekend when there’s live music. Read more

That place has the worst manager in the world, rudest guy ever! The place, food, music, waiters chef's kiss. but him, HIM made... our birthday dinner really uncomfortable and unpleasant. We are not the usual clients of the place and he made us feelunwelcome, how do you expect new people to come back to your restaurant with that kind of treatment. Read more
