The decor is fun. They started strong but our friend?s shrimp wasn?t cooked well which can cause an allergy then no one could... find the waiter for 20 minutes. The other friend?s well done steak was raw in several parts. For a restaurant that has so manypeople working there, someone could have corrected things before we got frustrated. They adjusted the bill in the end. None ofus will probably be back. Not worth the price. Read more
Because of covid my dining out outings have been far between, so you can imagine how pleased I was to be back to the good food... and delightful charming El Novillo restaurant. Nice white tablecloth Nicaraguan restaurant. I?m not a fan of fritangas. If you want to experience nice Nicaraguan food and... great service, this is your place! (They give you extra rice, extract sauce as much as you want!) Read more
The decor is very interesting, really pretty. The ceviche was good, but way too acid. The fried fish was good, it had a good... taste and the best part is that they take the bone out. The Margarita was ok and the 3 leches was good. Overall I would go backand also recommend. Read more
The food was ok but not amazing. The steaks were obviously cooked very well but the sides were just ok and there was very little... variety. The service was so so. I found the servers to be too aggressive with food and drink handling. The decorations indoorswere pretty good. Read more
Came here last night with my family and it was decent. It's honestly just fritanga food but in a "nicer" environment i guess. It... isn't any different than your local fritanga spot. One thing I did note was that their customers service was good. They werereally welcoming upon our arrival and had patience when asking for our orders. If I'm being honest i wouldn't come back here andthat's because I could just buy this type of food from a local fritanga spot and even get more food and for a better value. Onemore thing to note is if you like fritanga food but want to sit down and enjoy some drinks and spend time with your family thismight not be too bad of a choice. Read more
I came to celebrate our anniversary and haf a amazing meal! We order Churrasco, Lamb, rice, plantains! And 3 leches for... desert. For some reason The rice wasn't that good this time. We share a Sangria. Service is excellent, prices are fair (bigportions), and I would highly recommend this restaurant for the entire family. Lots of parking around. Read more
My husband and I love this venue! El Novillo on Bird Road. We come often and have even discussed wines we enjoy with the owner.... We went for dinner this last Saturday 11/12/22 at about 8:30pm and were told the wait was approximately 30 minutes, not aproblem, we told the greeter that we would find a spot in the bar. We were told that they were no seats available so my husbandsat at the front and I went to the restroom. When I got out of the bathroom I found two chair at the bar. I sat and called myhusband to let the greeter know we were at the bar. My husband called me back and said they could not call us at the bar.Needless to say I was confused?why if he told her we would be at the bar they could not contact us there. When I came back tothe front the greeter said she could not leave the front?I went as far as telling her that this is a bad business decisionbecause we would be consuming at the bar as well as the table once seated. She insisted she was supposed to call out our namesfrom the greeting area. We stayed at the greeting area waiting for our seats while multiple times she left her post to do whoknows what?I can?t believe that customers waiting at the bar cannot be contacted, especially if the greeter was informed wherethey were! Just informing the unfortunate experience we had when greeted. I have 3 stars because the food was as great asalways but the greeter needs to learn ?customer service ? since she is the first person a customer sees!!!!.
