Great place for authentic Cuban food. There were a lot of Spanish speakers and you can tell this place is local. The portions... are very good at a great price. The whole fish though was on the expensive side($30), but you can definitely stick with theinexpensive options. We should have read the reviews more carefully, as we thought this was more of a restaurant vs. buffet style take-out. I do not... speak a word of Spanish, making it very hard to communicate to many of the vendors. The signs being in Spanish lead to a similarchallenge, we had no idea what or how to order food. Eventually after a lot of walking around, pointing and hand gestures wemanaged to get a few plates to try! The food was very good, very home-cooked. The juice bar was the best part, so fresh anddelicious. I wish this experience was a bit easier and less stressful, but we eventually made it! Read more

This to me is my 1st stop of the day when I come into Miami. I come get my fresh coconut , they slice off the top give me a... straw and I just drink fresh coconut water. Spectacular. Then they have a vast array of freshly prepared food to buy by the lbfor take out, ear in or go to the beach or sit by the bay and have a picnic. So many things you cannot imagine and it's justincredible. IF you like Cuban food or Latin-American food this is the place to come cause it is the real deal. Employee at the register was nice. Lots of fruits on display. Ordered pork sandwich, beef empanada and guava cheese pastry. I... thought pork was dry but friend seemed to enjoy it. Beef in the empanada was extremely dry! Instead of guava cheese they gave mejust a guava pastry. I want to give the place another try next time and try the juices or the cafeteria style food.
