I would this eatery more stars if the atmosphere was better. It is like a dungeon inside, even in the day time. When I look at... other places that are impressive with ambiance, I always see careful attention to magnify the bar with well lit areas toshowcase the liquor offerings. This type of lighting is also beneficial to the bar crew. Imho, business fail with notshowcasing the bar area, which yields the most profit. Yes, in some respects, the decor is retro, albeit, outdated. Any goodarchitect knows that investing in ambiance contributes to profits. Update with the bar area would have to include welcomingbalance to the seating area. I admire the owner for all he gives back to the community with his charity efforts. It's justthat so much more could be done to increase profits to allow him to give back even more. Read more
My visit was on Sunday approximately 2p, we sat at the bar because there was a 30 min wait. Sports were playing on the big... screens and music was loud - the vibe was more like a Saturday evening then a Sunday afternoon, but I enjoyed it! I had the ribs, coleslaw and full loaded bake potato. My client had their biggest burger with sweet potato fries. The service... was excellent. Went today and ordered my favorite rack of ribs with sweet potatoes and a caesar salad. My clients orderedchicken wings, ribs mash potatoes and salad. They enjoyed the attention and food. Read more
I hadn?t been to this Location in a while and I must admit, I was pleasantly surprised after picking up an online order for... takeout. Ashley greeted me with a smile, and that really goes a long way! She asked for my name and proceeded to bring my orderup AND check it with me to ensure that it was to my satisfaction. Ashley also asked me if I needed anything else, and after Iremembered I wanted barbecue sauce and mayo, without any hesitation, she went ahead and got them for me. Aside from the orderbeing correct and fresh, I think the thing I value the most is customer service. There?s nothing like picking up an order aftera long day at work and being greeted with a smile and a d just all around positive energy! Thank you, Ashley! Ps. I completely messed up my order on the app. When I received my order, I couldn't believe I forgot to ask for the hot sauce on... the side. The server saw the pank in my face and said he would talk to the manager for me. That was just the act of kindnessand service I needed after a long work day. The manager had my order redone and this time with the sauce on the side. Thank youvery much. Two ???? ???? up for exceptional service.
