Horrible! I walk in with a group of four and the so called manager claims to be the owners was yelling at the staff .. I asked... the very profesional waiter to ask her to see she, . I verbatim heard when she said NO Quiero!! So I got up and kindly asked herto please take that elsewhere. She started yelling at me and said to mind my business.. I am in shock that this happened !Important to highlight she refused to give me her name she said this is her business and she does whatever she wants…I repliedand reminded her that the she is in business because of us… Read more

Best Nicaraguan food in Miami!!! The location is amazing (super hip part of town and so close to all the downtown nightlife) and... the family who runs the Guayacan has been doing this for literally DECADES, and it shows! Everything is delicious. I literallydreamt about the Carne Asada after eating it. Tender but with a bite, delightfully seasoned with citrus, it will make your mouthwater. It's also huge! It was big enough for two meals for me. Amazing bang for your buck here. The pescado/fish in the housecream sauce was absolutely delightfully as well!!! Mmmm I could rave about it for days. Tender and fall apart, with a deliciouschar from the grill, and a creamy yet light sauce. Seriously in love! The sides were also amazing. Rice and beans were moistand had a light seasoning that let the beans shine. If you love plantains, make sure to try the maduros for something sweet toround off a delicious meal :) Seriously, the Guayacan is the best Nicaraguan food in Miami...loved the welcoming familyatmosphere and the delicious food! I don’t even know where to begin. It’s been over a decade since the last time I dined here. I had the Lengua en Salsa then... and I had it again this most recent time. It was as memorable this time as it was back then. The flavor was rich in itsNicaraguan roots and flavor. OMG! The service was top notch. We had the pleasure of having a gentleman take care of us who hasbeen working there for more than 20 yrs. Don’t miss out on having some of the tres leche with flor de caña!! Let’s just saymy family and I can’t stop talking about our experience there and it’s been over a week already! Please give this MiamiTreasure a shot. Read more

My wife and I arrived for a late lunch. It was our first experience with Nicaraguan food. The ambience was nice as was the... service. I ordered the grilled pork with achiote and it was well marinated. The starting sauces with garlic bread was a nice wayto begin lunch. The highlight for us was the Rum Cake pudding, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Read more

We ordered the parrillada for 2 and it was a pretty good portion. The pork and chicken were delicious! Steak was perfectly... cooked! Wasn't a fan of the sausage but that's just personal preference. Tostones were on point! Staff is super friendly, everyone was very nice. They have their own parking which is a huge plus when Little Havana is super busy! Read more

Overpriced Nicaraguan food that is lacking taste. We came to this restaurant about 3 years ago before the area was "gentrified."... Back then a plate ran you 12 dollars. Now that the area has totally changed, rent must have gone up, and so did the prices inthe menu. The cheapest dish is 15 dollars and it goes up from there. Problem is that for the price, the taste is simply notthere. Also, some of the portions aren't so big and the tres leches was served in an aluminum foil container. As nicas say, sojincho! There are far cheaper Nicaraguan restaurants in Miami, with better taste, although the interior of the restaurant isgood. However, the loud music playing gives it the atmosphere of a cantina. That's something they can certainly lower, thevolume of the music blasting as your trying to peacefully enjoy the somewhat tasteless meal. If you're a tourist strollingthrough the new Calle ocho who has never had Nicaraguan food, avoid this place. There must be tastier places in the area. Read more
