The reason I provided a five (5) star review for this spectacular Native Puertorrican restaurant is due to the fact that every... effort possible was made by the owner to make sure the experience is true to homemade food from Puerto Rico. From it?s greatlocation, available parking and decor - with it?s ambiance? amazing experience???? From the native Mavi drink, which is VERYwell made, to the appetizers, entrees and amazing dessert (tembleque) I can only share, that I absolutely loved everything. Theonly thing I ordered, that I did not find had a true home made feeling and taste was the corn appetizer ?sorullitos?. Never didI ever see these growing up in Puerto Rico with cheese inside. I would not order again, if I can?t leave out the cheese off thisequation? Thank you for great ?Boricua? home made food!???? Read more

Wait time - I wish they have a true reservation system. Even with us calling ahead we had to wait a good 30 minutes , before a... table opened up after an hour of drive. If you plan to attend with a party of 6 or more be prepared to wait as they only have 1big table the rest are 2 and 4 tops. Food- we ordered a variety of items from the menu. The best were the appetizers. Thesorullos and chicharrones were the best I?ve ever had. Los pasteles wow ???? now on the other side, several people in my partyfelt the food was salty. I ordered the rice with lobster and my husband ordered a soup. Both plates had a very overpower tasteof cilantro. For those that like cilantro great but for me that really dislike cilantro ???? well is ????, the juices arebatidos and weak. Don?t recommend those either. Service - it was average in my opinion. My husband asked for a second cokeand was never brought. We asked for sorullos to go and the server never brought them either ??????? Spend- we spend $300 for6 people without any alcoholic beverages. I will still encourage you to try it and be the judge. For me if there is ever anext time it will be strictly appetizers. Read more

Absolutely delicious! I ordered "El Navideno" the lechon (pork) was tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned, brought me back to... Lechon Trail where we visited in Puerto Rico. The "aroz con gondules" was only a side, but it was just like me grandmother's. Myhusband got "aroz con langosta y camarones" rice with lobster and shrimp. The flavors were fantastic and the seafood was tender.Joe, our server was patient with our questions about the menu and incredibly friendly and helpful. This meal turned a roughtravel day into a fantastic experience. Do not be intimidated by not knowing Spanish! Read more

Place is very good. Decoration is lovely! Menu is huge!! The most popular dish is mofongo, it is a little expensive (on the... 30s), but 2 people can eat out of it. Read more

Large menu with a ton of authentic puerto rican plates. While we loved the authenticity, there were too many items on the menu... (that, or the menu wasnt clear enough). I ordered the pastelon pinon and found it to be fantastic. The ground beef was marinatedwell and the fried plantains were juicy enough to make for a pleasant dish. It came with 2 sides so i got the arroz con gandulesand the tostones. Both items were a bit on the drier side. I usually love tostones on their own and needed to use a bunch ofmayoketchup (salsa rosada/ketchup and mayonnaise-based sauce) to spice it up. I recommend the shrimp mofongo appetizer over thecrab (while both tasty, the flavorful tomato-based sauce was more apparent in the shrimp version). I recommend skipping themofongo mariscos. It was very pricey and came as a "sampler platter" where each protein came in a separate bowl. The protein wasgreat, but the mofongo was not stuffed ("relleno") like i prefer my mofongo to be. A pretty big let down for the price. Read more
