Update: I did not go there for 5 months, but I work in the area, so I decided to give them another try, once last week and then... again this week. It is so much better now! It looks very clean and the food is back to what I would expect from them! Original:The food at the Midtown Miami location of Lime has become inedible. It was good a few months ago, but it has gone downhill -consistently. Today I ordered a queso burrito. It had no queso. And the rice wasn't cooked. And the chicken was gross. Food is ok. Meat is fresh but not well seasoned. A bit overpriced for the quality and quantity. I do love the drinks.
Filthy!!! Walls dirty. Soda machine disgusting. The counter girl is high as a kite. The manager looks like he needs to be... elsewhere texting for the past 30 minutes without even looking at the restaurant. Mediocre food. A far far far cry from whatlime used to be. Read more
I ordered the shrimp taco but it isn't the same as I remembered. I remember the cheese being cooked and crunchy unless the taco... I am thinking about was from another restaurant.Oh well all in all my shrimp taco tasted pretty good. Went back the next day toget a strawberry margarita. It was bomb! What a fantastic little find! Staff were helpful and friendly and could tell we hadn?t been in before. They told us how it all... worked, provided us with Menus and helped choose food to our liking. The food came out pretty quick and was excellent, we hadthe fajitas and some sides. The price was also really reasonable. This is a chain of restaurants, not sure If each one is different. This location was very cute - it?s a bit on the corner so... don?t expect it to jump out at you - next to the Midtown Building. The staff was extra polite and friendly. Food was fresh andmade ready to order. Decor was very cute. A good Tex Mex type of feel for a decent price. Read more
