So I've only gotten the steak sandwich and vaca frita here so far and it's in no way bad. The steak has a gentle citrus flavor... that helps tie it together. The food I've seen looks like the standard "Cuban cafeteria" food so the quality is pretty decent.Nice and homely. The servings are great for the price AND you know you're helping some locals while you're at it. Worth it ifyou have a want for some Cuban food and are in the FIU area. Read more
Came down from NYC for vacation and knew I was coming here. I saw ?Street Foods? on Netflix and was sold. Couldn?t wait to come... here. They did not disappoint. I got a Cuban Sandwich and an order of Pork Chunks with rice and beans. Food melts in your mouth.Million times better then ANY Cuban food you will find in NYC. Thank you to the Galindo Family. The food was delicious and the milkshakes were amazing. Only reason I rate it 3 stars is because of the tiny bugs that were... running about on the floor. Overall the food is good but the pests need to be controlled. Read more
Got scrambled eggs, grits, bacon, a huge piece of Cuban bread toasted and buttered, with cafe con leche for about $8. A... bargain. The bacon was not as crispy as like. It was all curled and not my favorite but everything else was delicious! Read more

I came on Christmas day to enjoy a dinner w/ friends. We decided to be seated on outdoor seats and the service was extremely... slow. The tamales on leaf were horrible and the salmon grille a little overcooked. I reduce stars from 4 to 3 star because theymake me feel bad in front of my guesses. day Best breakfast place around. I always enjoy going to their other restaurant and I love it. I liked this one too their food great as usual for food I?ll give... 5 stars. But customer service was really bad we sat there for more than 10 minutes before I went I got our menus. To get wateralso a hassle; the girls were very disorganized they started serving the bread and water to a table that came up after us. Alsothey were sending each other to serve the tables, it was busy but not crazy our section had probably 4 waitress and no-one cameup to us until I got up and talk to one of them. Trying to get our check another long wait when the restaurant was empty only usand another table. I give a 3 stars just for the lack of customer service nothing like their other restaurant. Read more
Firt time here... came for breakfast after a long bike ride and my husband had not been here since he was a kid, so we decided... to go in. I ordered the special breakfast (2 scrambled eggs with ham, tatertots, Cuban toast and caficito.) Overall food wasgood, they served me like 4 eggs, portion was huge. We sat outside on the bar stools and Service was great, nice ladies, but thetoaster looked not so clean even though the heating plates were covered by foil, the ice maker looked old and had white stainson the sides...just looked old and dirty.
