Friend invited us to try this place. Apparently it’s pretty popular in California. Dishes we ordered all tasted great. The... twice cooked pork rib is super tender on the inside and crispy on the outside. The fried chicken uses white meat and is veryjuicy and tender too. Fried brussels sprouts is creative and refreshing. Tonkatsu and Spicy Tonkatsu ramen we ordered used realpork bone broth instead of powders and ramen tastes nice and firm. Overall very impressed. Reasonable price too. Read more

8/10! Adorable, casual dining experience. The interior is simple, spacious, clean. Our servers were very friendly, provided... excellent service without hovering. The prices of their sushi rolls were very reasonable & I’d like to return to try more. Thefood alone I’d rate 7.5, the whole experience I’d say 8/10. We had the karaage, spicy tonkatsu, surf & turf roll, and buribap. Will return! Read more

The service was a little slower than what I would expect but the food made up for everything! The Peking duck was so juicy and... tender ! The ramen was super creamy. Wagyu was cooked nicely and just melted away. Everything was so good. Great vibes ! Read more

LOVED this place! Morimoto-san didn't disappoint :) I wish I could have one of each dishes on the menu (and still sad we didn't... have room left for ramen which looked delicious!). Also wish Peking duck had crispier skin, but I guess you can't have perfecteverything :) Appetizers were delicious. Highly recommend sticky ribs, yum. Duck tacos were yummy, too, and so were spicywontons. And I have yet to see a gyoza I didn't like, so try that, too. Definitely coming back. Oh, great selection of sakes, too! Read more

I'm glad I finally made it over to Momosan after hearing all the hype! We made a reservation for Saturday evening and were... quickly seated when we arrived. This is a popular restaurant - be prepared for a large crowd. We ordered some different itemson the menu: -Tuna Pizza: Good, but overpriced for what it is. I suggest getting something else. -Sticky Ribs: Great, I wouldget them again. -Wagyu Carpaccio: Very good, would order again. -Gyukotsu Ramen & Wagyu Pho: These were both good. However, Idid find them both to be very gamey in flavor, which can be either good or bad depending on your preferences. The pho is alsodefinitely not made in the traditional style, but I still enjoyed it. To be honest, I have had better ramen in the past, and Imuch prefer every other small Vietnamese restaurants' pho over this one. -Sticky Rice: It was good, although I have had bettersticky rice. Could be more flavorful. Other notes: Our waitress was great and very helpful. The ambiance is average for thistype of restaurant - not much to comment on. Bathroom was messy. The yuzu margarita was mostly ice and I wouldn't order itagain. Overall, yes, the food is enjoyable and good. However, it was definitely overpriced for what it is. Additionally, Iwould not go here if you are looking for traditional cuisine. Visit for the experience, but check out your local smaller,family-owned restaurants if you want a more traditional dish for more affordable prices. Read more

I really love this place so much. This is generally my go to for dinner with my sister and it’s a very nice place to have... dinner. We get a sampler of pretty much everything and then we share the plates. The ribs are great, the pork bao are great, thefried chicken is great(it would be nicer if they got turned into smaller bites however), the firecracker shrimp are absolutelyamazing and the Ramen is to die for. I highly recommend this place for anyone wanting to have a light dinner. It’s veryeconomical as well if you want it to be. Between my sister and I we only spent $60 before tip and we felt it was an awesomevalue… now if you add a steak on there … lol! Read more

We had high expectations for Momosan based on my friends experience, and after seeing all of the Instagram photos (hell, even my... photos makes the food look great) and options on their menu, my belly was in my hand! A frozen Kirin Ichiban Draft beer got thenight started. Our waiter then gave the run down of the popular menu items, but this is how we rolled the dice. HotAppetizers Soft Shell Bao (Fried crab) - Loved Pork Gyoza - Okay Popcorn Shrimp - Liked Spicy Wonton - Okay From the A5 WagyuSelection, we went with the Carpaccio. We liked it, but I wanted to love it... after all it's A5 Wagyu! Sushi Rolls ShrimpTempura Spicy Yellowtail California Roll The rolls were for my teenage daughters, which explains the California roll. Butoverall, nothing exciting or exceptional. Rolls at other restaurants such as Suviche and Tunaki are more complex andtasty. Ramen Tonkotsu - Okay I'm no ramen expert, but I've enjoyed better ramen at other local joints. And if the Ramen is oneof the restaurants main attractions, then I might not be the best judge. The reality is, I might have to reset my palate or Ihave been eating at too many Japanese restaurants because even Brunch at Zuma (one of my Top 3 all time restaurants) this pastweekend felt average. 3.5 Stars for me. I liked most of the dishes we tried, but I'm not sure when or if I will be back. Oh,avoid outdoor seating. You're basically on the street with a canopy. No ambiance. Ps. After writing this review, I learnt thatMomosan is an Iron Chef Morimoto establishment, which makes me even more disappointed on the overall experience. Iron Chefshould = EPIC. Read more

This place has Amazing Service! Almost every Wagu dish you order is brought up table side and hand torched by the server. If you... order a big cut of Wagu they even bring up the certificate to show you the origin of the Cow. And If you order the Peking Duckthey will hand carve it right beside your table. I would definitely come back just for the experience. However, the Wagu Phodidn’t really taste like Pho. The broth wasn’t herbal like traditional Pho broth, it’s more buttery and oily which Ididn’t expect. The Tonkotsu Ramen was really good but after a couple bites you kinda feel the sodium hit you like a bus. Read more
