Been coming to this establishment since 2006. Their management is garbage!!! I came with a group of people, always spend a... decent amount of money every time and the ?supposedly? have a new rule. That on weekends they don?t allow anyone under 21without a parent. Person that was with us is my nephew who?s 19. Didn?t know that a minor was someone under 21. We weren?t goingto consuming alcohol. I honestly would never come back to this place. They charge a fair amount and haven?t upgraded since theStone Age. They need to shutdown!!!!! Garbage place and the personnel is not educated! They are in dire need of some customerservice training. Read more
Chicken wings and billiards prices are great. The only thing that is not straightforward is the servers not really sharing the... receipt and just showing you the full price without letting you know the tip is already included. That should be somethingdisclosed or else everyone is going to be giving 30-40% tip without even knowing. Be more transparent. Read more
I ordered an Old Fashioned (second easiest cocktail ever) Bartender brought me a foamy and clear drink,full of ice. I asked, why... is this foamy, he said he had shaken it. I say:" man do you know how to make an Old Fashioned?" The guy had not a single clueand when I'm showing him to make me another ( my last job was as a Bartender) he gave me attitude. ! Instead of learningsomething he should have known before standing behind a bar! This Bartender should at least what some YouTube videos on cocktailmixing and basic customer service. New Wave Billiards will forever hold a very special place in my heart. New wave has been around for as long as I can remember... and it is ALWAYS a good time. There are plenty (20 plus) pool tables, the staff members are all generally pretty nice,prepandemic when they had table service the servers were great, and the prices are reasonable. Another thing I like is the factthat they keep their pool tables well lit, clean and the felt was recently redone for most of the tables. Whenever I am in themood to play pool, this is my go to spot and has been for eons. I HIGHLY recommend this place over any other billiards place inMiami. Read more
Great, fun place to play billiards, kick back and have a few beers. Plenty of tables and reasonably priced. The food is not the... best, nor the worst, but that?s not why you go there. They offer a variety of specials on different days. For those who lovekaraoke, they?ve got that too! Great jukebox with a variety of music for all to enjoy!!! If could leave 0 stars I would. We took our nephew to pool for his first time just to show him a good experience because that?s... what he wanted to do. We had Sam had as our server and let me tell you I?ve never had such a horrible experience like this in mylife! She was extremely rude. We had just ate so we were only going to play a few games of pool for our nephew. Since we didn?torder anything it seemed to really aggravate Sam. she decided to give us attitude when she asked us if we wanted anything and wejust asked for water so he could take his medication. She just sighed and rolled her eyes and then disregarded the water anddecided to go on her phone in and the back the whole time and then serve the tables next to ours but not us. I?ve never felt sounwanted and disrespected in a place. I don?t want to blame the pool hall because the front desk person was extremely kind.However I left with a bad taste because of Sam and her attitude an just lack of professionalism. Also seeing my nephew crybecause he felt she didn?t want him there just made us feel even worse. Read more
