I kept 2 starts instead of one because I know you can do better. I ordered 1/4 chicken paid $9 and got a dry burned chicken, the... side corn was also old and the salad was also old. If you double your prices, I expect better fresh food. There was no line thatshould of given me warning. I like Pollo Tropical but I hate getting bad old, burned food. Read more
I would give half a star if I could. Walked in at 9p this evening at Kendall and 137th ave location on 9/18/22. There is no... chicken (no explanation, just, that we can?t order anything with chicken in it- no cilantro sauce- menu has changed even thoughit?s advertised otherwise (no brown rice any longer, and plantains are now an add item with your entrees.) we ordered the mojopork- pretty much fatty pieces and no good meat. The black beans are pure liquid with maybe a dozen beans in it. Literally hadto fish them out. Terrible. Not impressed and I?m an avid pollo tropical customer (at least 4x a month). This was a horrible experience. I went to get dinner for my family. I got all the way home and when I opened the beans it was... all liquid. I had to beg for more sauce they gave me one when I purchased a family meal. When I went back the manager didn?teven apologize all she said was give her beans with no liquid. So my rice n chicken where cold by time I returned with thebeans. Smh customer service is a joke these days. Read more
My father bought us food from this pollo tropical location and my salad came with a plastic in it. I was chewing on it since I... didn?t notice it was plastic and mixed in with the lettuce it camouflages. At first we were already annoyed because they chargedmy father and didn?t give him all the food he ordered he had to return to ask for it. I see why this place has the terrible reviews it has I went here for the first time in a long time the service was terrible... their answers for everything is they can?t do something.They can?t put toppings on the side they cant remove ham from asandwich. They roll their eyes and huff and puff when speaking to PAYING CUSTOMERS. This is one of the worst pollo tropicals thesandwich was burnt on the ends and the chicken was undercooked and let?s talk about portions. I placed an order for delivery and the order was messed up so bad. We ordered a salad and selected the option to remove cheese... yet they added a ton of cheese. We ordered corn fritters and they gave us cheesy yucca bites. We ordered the chicken soup bowland we never received it. We ordered a tropichop with vegan chicken picadillo and I only received a few tiny pieces. Horriblequality of food and it seems the worked do not read the order. Read more
