The service and food was amazing. There was a slight wait when we got there but overall so good! I love to give my business to... black owned and I was not disappointed at all! Have been wanting to try this Black owned spot for awhile & I\'m glad I did. The only downfall was the service. It took quite a... bit of time for our waitress to greet us even though not too many patrons were there. My hubby got The Blacker the Berry (greatflavor profile) & the S&W Brioche Gouda Burger. That burger was FIRE!!!! That tomato jam is excellent. I got the S&W SpecialFried Chicken & Collard Greens & the amount of chicken they give you plus the flavor had me dancing in my seat. Smith and Webster is one of my favs. I recently went with friends to celebrate a birthday. We went for brunch and returned that... evening for dinner. Whichever time of day you choose the food and service won’t disappoint you! Jason the host was welcomingand warm. Cindy our server was amazing and Manager Alex was super attentive and accommodating! Very small but cute restaurant. In order to park in the front parking lot you must valet. I went on a Wednesday night so it was.... Ot crowded at all. The oxtail lasagna was deliciously the mac and cheese I was not a fan of at all. The blacker the berry drinkwas delicious. A downside is the waiter took about 10 min to come to our table. She took our drink order which seem to havetaken another 15 min to come which someone else brought it to our table. Our waiter was missing probably another 15 minutes andthen came to take our food order. The food came at a reasonable time. The waiter used the machine to tell us our total butneglected to advise 18% gratuity was included. Although she had us waiting I still wanted to tip her atleast 15%. She nevershowed me the screen just took my card and handed the machine so I can select tip and sign. I gave the 15% tip not knowing itwas include already and ended up paying $32 in tip which I don\'t feel she deserved. I didn\'t dispute but feel if they aregoing to read you back what you ordered and tell you the total and not show you the screen they should advise gratuity isincluded. My cousin and I wanted to try a new restaurant for Friday dinner this evening. I happened to see Smith and Webster on Instagram,... and based off their pictures I had to try them out. As we walked in, I was in love at the decor of the restaurant and theirmusic. I made a reservation (as suggested on their page), and we were taken right on time to our seat. We were then promptly metby our waitress Cindy. She was very kind, knowledgeable of the menu, and very accommodating. We came right in time for happyhour (5-7pm). We ordered some drinks to start. My favorite drink was their Smith and Webster Elixir. Omg this drink was veryflavorful with multiple fruit flavors, and just the right amount of liquor in them. The drink was so smooth and tasty, theliquor will sneak up on you lol. We ordered the crunchy shrimp, fried chicken sliders, and grilled wings which were all amazingand packed with flavor. I loved how crunchy, and sweet & spicy flavor of their crunchy shrimp. I ordered the salmon with seafoodrice, and a side of Brussel sprouts. This is one of the best salmon meals I’ve had thus far. The crispiness and juiciness ofthe salmon, paired well the seafood rice (which had huge shrimps in the rice). We also met the floor manager Jason who checkedon everyone, and was accommodating. First time and food was great. Kenni our server was a pleasure. Helped us pick some good choices and kept our drinks topped off.... We even got a visit from the chef. We came at the brunch menu so the French toast was amazing and chicken biscuit with potatoeswas to. Especially those potatoes wow. Now we have to go back to try some other things.
