Best Meal Preps in Miami! The meals are full of flavor and are always delivered on time!
I signed up for a 30-day challenge. The promo said that I would be able to pick my meals each week (false), that I would receive... the meals every Sunday (false), that I would receive a free air fryer with my order (FALSE). I have never felt so scammed by acompany in my life. Not only did I not get to pick my meals, but they sent the same bland selections every week even though Iwould indicate that I didn?t want certain dishes included. The first round arrived at 5pm on Sunday, which is what theypromised. After that, I referred a friend to the service. He never received his food. Beginning with the second week, my mealswere a day late or more each week. I never received the air fryer. I have called and made several attempts to contact and askabout it. I spoke to a live person ONCE who promised to look into it. That was the last I ever heard. It?s been 3 months. Icannot believe that a company that treats its customers this way remains in business. Wouldn?t recommend. Customer service is non responsive over email - had to connect with them on Instagram. They say the delivery... driver will call you the morning of but really, they just call when they are 3 minutes away and deliver food without any ice orinsulation. First week the meals were ok. On week two I realized that they never switch up their menu. Prepare to eat 5different types of ?low carb/keto? eggplant/chicken/etc parm and have the same vegetable mix (zucchini, cauliflower, greenbeans) on the side of your sauced chicken. Paper salt and pepper packets are thrown into the containers for breakfast meaningevery morning you have to dig out soggy condiments before reheating. They forgot one of my meals and assured me they?d do apartial refund for the inconvenience and send some extra food the next week. This never happened. Finally the calorie countsare not right. I?m on 75 hard and was shocked when I hadn?t lost a pound during the three weeks I tried this service. despite150 minutes of daily exercise, no cheat meals, and no alcohol. This meal prep (WEIGHT LOSS PLAN - 21 MEALS) was the only thing Iwas eating, while drinking a gallon of water a day and one cup of black coffee in the morning. Now that I?ve switched to a newservice I?m starting to see the results I would have expected all along. Makes sense considering they have a big bowl ofovernight oats with chocolate chips, a full banana, cranberries, almonds, and an unspecified amount of brown sugar marked as 316calories and 45 grams of carbs. I would give this zero stars but I don?t think that?s an option. I ordered from Spartan meal preps and I am vegetarian, the... first week they didn?t deliver because ?they didn?t have enough food? so they offered me a 50% discount plus a week free since Ihad ordered another week in advance. The second week they called me on a Sunday at 12-1300 explaining to me that the chef is outof town and they would be unable to provide me the food again. I decided to not order again as they had promised me two weeksand free snacks. When I finally received the first week after almost a month, the food had mold, it didn?t have themacronutrients and it was labeled with paper. I contacted them and was told they would send me more food the following week tomake up for the mold. The following week I never received any meals, I contacted them in all possible ways and no one hasreached back out to me. Just wanted to say that I tried Spartan and the food was good, no complaints. The issue started when I placed a customized order... they send me the wrong food. That was the first red flag, I kinda forgot about it and placed another order and this time theynever shipped my order at all. I reached out by phone calls, IG messages and customer service they told me that it was an issuewith UPS and that for the following week they will send the food, then the same thing happened no food delivered. I reached outagain and they offer me a 50% discount for the inconvenience which they never gave me at all. I even tried to reach out 3 weekslater asking for a refund and nothing, I had to dispute the charge with my bank and after that they reached out apologizingsaying that they will send me a free full 15 meals for the inconvenience and here we are nothing after 2 weeks. They are superunprofessional, they lie to customers, they are doing false advertisement on their website and I don?t see this business gettingto far just because they don?t know how to run a business and eventually they will mess with the wrong person and get a lawsuit. I have never gone out of my way to leave a review but unfortunately Spartan meal preps pretty much forced me too. I tried this... meal plan for a week because it had such good ratings. I placed an order for 18 meals and they only delivered 15 meals. Theyalso delivered the wrong meals as I customized my order and they didn?t bring me what I wanted. I emailed customer support totry and get the rest of the meals and to see if they can deliver the correct ones and all they said was for the following weekto place the order for 15 and to write it in the delivery notes that they owe me 3 meals. They didn?t apologize for theinconvenience they didn?t offer free delivery they just assumed I would want to order more meals when really I wasn?t planningon it because I was not impressed with the food. When I emailed them saying I wasn?t going to order the meals again and wouldlike to receive my money back for the missing 3 meals. I got no response. Wouldn?t recommend this meal plan to anybody. I placed an order on Saturday 2/27 and never received any update about the order being fulfilled or shipped. I sent 2 emails and... got no response to either one. I then used the chat feature on their website and again received no response until I messagedthat I would chargeback my credit card then magically I got a response right away saying they could refund my order or fulfillit next week. Customer service is atrocious and the level of incompetence is staggering. I?ve ordered meal prep from megafitmeals for 3 years and never had any problems with orders or getting in contact with them. I decided to try this company becauseI as a Florida resident I wanted to support a Florida business but their lack of communication made it impossible. I highlyrecommend ordering from megafit or another company and avoiding this trainwreck of a company. Read more
