I had high hopes for this place after reading their menu and all the good reviews. We went there when they opened on Sunday and... ordered the crab dip along with a dozen blue crabs...half in garlic and the other half steamed. The crab dip was okay, lots ofcrab meat in it. The blue crabs were very disappointing though. The seasoning was mediocre, nothing too exciting there. The mostdisappointing part was the quality of the blue crabs. They were hollow and not a whole lot of meat. And I have doubts on thefreshness of the blue crabs. Some of them have crumbling meat which is consistent with old frozen crabs. The place was notbustling at all. Only one other table was seated the entire time we were there. And there were lots of flies flying around inthe dining room and on our table while we were eating. It was getting late my wife and I didn't feel like cooking do we decided to get a bite out. We do not live to far from the... restaurant, I had spotted it a few months ago,we proceeded to park and enter. First impression, not good the dirty smell of oilwas in the air and two customers were seating only,many of us in Florida love the Crab house,but this one isn't really what Ican remember from the original we exited right out.
