Start to finish, this was by far the best dinning experience we have ever had. From the Maître d’, to the bar, busser,... server, etc… every aspect of this restaurant is impeccable. The bartenders, Alex and J.R. were very friendly and quick ingetting us drinks while we waited for our table. Our server, Maria, was knowledgeable, amiable, charismatic and fun. She waskind enough to give us great recommendations for the remainder of our stay in Miami. It was our anniversary and they made usfeel extra special. We can not recommend this place enough. Great Japanese restaurant. Decorated in a very traditional Japanese way. It’s on the pricy end however worth a visit.... Cocktails were potent and very well made. Fish was very fresh. We have salmon roll and spicy tuna roll. After that we had anorder of dozen pieces of sashimi. Fish melted in our mouth. I wish price was slightly reasonable. But worth one time visit. Read more
I went on a solo date to get the omakase experience with The Den. Both chefs were amazing and the waitress was extremely kind. I... felt welcomed and every tasting was magnificent. This place has great service! I really enjoyed our special sashimi dishes and the blue fin tuna and the black cod! However the... prawn was a acquired taste, and the desert was a bit of weird cause it has a big piece of super hard white chocolate inside. This restaurant is top notch. A great meal and easily corrected kitchen error was prompt. Food came out a little faster than... preferred, but was ok. Amazing flavors and even the “traditional” had a nice change to it to make it special. Service wastop notch. The price/quality of some items are the main reason for a 4 star rating. Definitely tried better places flavor wise. - Wagyu... Gyozas: while some were pretty flavorful others lacked flavor all together - Hotate: the freshness was a high point however notas memorable as we expected considering the ingredients - Salmon and Ikura Roll: fresh and tasty - Black cod: definitely thestar of the night, fresh, incredible flavor and cooked to perfection (we initially were sharing all the dishes and ended upordering a second cod dish - it was that good) - Mochi: the passion fruit mochi was flavorful, the mango on the other hand wasbland The ambience was really calm and romantic which is perfect for a date night .
