Honestly was a huge disappointment. The restaurant was empty for a Wednesday night, compared to full restaurants next door, if... that tells you anything... Redeeming qualities was servers were friendly, and the ambiance was nice, especially if you came justfor a drink at the bar. Food was not great, and even made us ill afterwards. They had a sign for valet pointing next door andthe valet attendant said Jia didn\'t have valet and that it would cost $30. Brought this up to the hostess to no avail. Quitemisleading/sketchy! Fantastic vibe. Lots of gorgeous couples out on a date to impress. Wait staff is super friendly, attentive and informative. ... Now for the part about food...Crispy radish cake and Mushroom dumplings were amazing. Well executed. The Spicy and SourSeafood soup was a huge disappointment. Great crab meat and shrimp in the bowl, but not much flavor in the broth. Blacktruffle stick rice was another disappointment. Tasted like Indian khidchri with truffles. Chinese baijju dried aged beef shortribs were decent as was the whole crispy Hunan red snapper. The accompanied vegetables were well executed. Good selections forthose looking for gluten free items. This restaurant has the potential to be much better if the menu items are tweaked quite abit. I hope they can overhaul the menu quite a bit. We had wrong items brought to our table twice, but the errors were resolvedquickly. Finally, please replace the fancy metal chop sticks with more functional wooden chopsticks that are more practical andeasier to eat with. I found the metal chopsticks to be quite slippery and very hard to eat with. Read more
