Such a great local happy hour spot, the cocktails are all $5 and there’s a solid selection of happy hour plates that are sure... to please. The hamachi serriole is top notch, but I also love the rosemary eel roll (if you’re a fan of unagi you’ll love itjust as much as I do). Surprised by the Happy Hour: 5 pm to 8 pm everyday!!! We had the Fried Chicken Tacos (recommended by our server), Yaki Soba... Noodles, Chili Shrimp Dumplings, Korean Pork Tacos but the star was the simple Spicy Tuna Roll. It just melted in the mouth.VERY VERY GOOD! I would go straight for the Sushi next time... A ginger salad is very big and a great option for sharing. Shishito peppers are spicy. Sticky rice avocado I put soy sauce on it... for more flavor. Tofu fried he’s very good and chewy. Moshe mango and green tea very good. Good to have them In theneighborhood. Read more
Everything was amazing. Their happy hour is excellent. Yaki soba noodles are outstanding and you should pair them with some... shrimp and tenderloin skewers to make it perfection! Specialty drinks are ok, we had the picante lychee and yuzu margarita. Buthonestly for 5$ at happy hour or even 10$ for south beach they were great. Vibe and music is also amazing. The ingredients are there, the execution definitely, but service is slow yet we felt rushed. I read the reviews and on our one... month stay in Miami, we had Sushi Garage on our “to do list.” We had a 8 PM dinner reservation, we arrived timely and wereseated promptly. Our waitress came and took our drinks and food order. We order a bottle of wine, a sommelier or perhaps asommelier in training came over with the wine we order, opened and poured it for us. Our dishes were brought to the table bydifferent people/waiters. The dishes were as we expected - fresh ingredients, creativity was there and flavorful. But, I feltrushed. I understand we are living during a pandemic, and restaurants need to limit their customers time on tables but I reallyfelt like I was in a sushi factory and this was a big disappointment for us. Our waitress did not make it back to our tableuntil it was time to give us our check. We wanted to order additional dishes but their concise time to rotate our table stood in the way. Oddly, by the time we were done with our 8pm reservation, the dining room was thinning out. A bit overrated Ithought. Food was a solid 4 star Service (2 star for our waitress; 4 star for the acting sommelier who brought and served ourwine) Atmosphere 3-4 (I guess it’s best to be there for happy hours; our reservation was at 8pm so we sort of experience someof the happy hour’s scene. Do yourself a favor and sit at the bar. The service we received from Aaron on Sunday night was excellent! His menu... recommendations are perfect. He is a knowledgeable conversationalist if you wish to have an interactive experience. The fish wasincredibly fresh and delicious. Rosemary Eel Roll & Hamachi-Scallion Roll are my top picks - the flavor will blow your mind toconfetti. Despite the restaurant being packed, the food came out quickly. My only recommendation to management is to stockunfiltered sake. I have never been to a sushi bar that doesn’t, so for that reason only, it’s 4.9 stars.
