I had high expectations, given the great reviews and pics online. The atmosphere is really nice, but unfortunately, the food was... disappointing. The spicy scallop roll was too small (see pic). The dragon roll was bland. And the chef special was awkward toeat because the sashimi was under the maki, making it hard to pick them both up together with chopsticks. The fried rice alsolacked flavor and had an odd texture because it was a really short grain. Read more

The chicken was pretty good. Sushi in my opinion was nothing special and definitely did not match the price. Automatic 18% tip... was added to bill, not a fan of forced gratuity as this should be based upon the level of service in my opinion which didn’tlevel up. We had an exceptional impromptu date night at Tanuki as we were ducking a storm. The waiter Adrian was wonderful. We had the... Miami spice vegan menu and were stuffed.
