The Forge is one of those few authentic places in Miami. From the time you step into the restaurant, you are transported back in... time. It is easy to see why Frank Sinatra, Al Capone, Marilyn Monroe, Kennedy, MJ and many others picked this place as theirgo-to Miami restaurant. I highly recommend the tour as it gives you an insight into what made this place so special. From theescape routes, to the wine room, to the crystal wall, this place is unapologetically authentic. Beautiful design. The food is great. Of course, prices are accordingly more expensive than usual .... But this is a very good... experience for me. I liked everything very much. Service is good. There is a lot of light in this retro restaurant. Read more

We had a great time at The Forge! We arrived early and there was no one in the restaurant, so we decided to have a drink at the... bar. Once we were seated 30 minutes later, the restaurant began to fill up. We were greeted by our server Richard. He truly madeour experience memorable! He asked for our names, addressed us by our names throughout the evening, asked us how many years wewere married since we were there for our anniversary which was later presented on our dessert, and made an attempt to get toknow us without smothering us. We loved his service. The food was delicious! We both had steak and they were cooked toperfection. We later ordered our dessert which was good, but kind of hard to eat because the bottom later of cookie was veryhard. They even wrote Happy Anniversary on the plate for us! You have to check out the bathrooms- they are very unique! Thewomen's restroom has a full makeup/hair seating area in front of the mirrors, and the bathroom itself was very well kept. Theyhad a DJ the evening we went, playing current classy "hits" and it was a fun environment, not stuffy like some high endrestaurants. If you are visiting Miami, I'd highly recommend The Forge, and request Richard Delabatt to be your server! Read more

Went for a private dinner for a friend's birthday and the chef's menu was delightful! The service and attention to detail was... superb, probably the best service experience I've experienced in Miami. Food was amazing. The private room was just fabulous.???????????????????????? Read more

Pros: the place is different; romantic, eclectic atmosphere; porterhouse steak was delicious and cooked just to right... point Cons: - freezing (why do they have to put the aircon to winter temperatures??), - waitress came to our table waaaay toomany times (yes there is such a thing as too much service when you’re trying to have a romantic evening), - while the soufflé(ordered the marble one) was interesting, you need to order ice cream and strawberries separately and between service and taxthis adds up to 45 (!) USD for a good but not outstanding dessert. Outrageous. Read more

The Forge is absolutely fantastic. The atmosphere is great, the history is amazing and the staff is incredibly awesome and... helpful. Went here twice in one week while in town for business and had a great time both times. Make sure you ask for a tour ofthe place after dinner! Tons of historical artifacts and information. Read more

The decor is stunning, the setup is fit for a King & Queen.Ordered the Ceasar salad which was made at the table, chef explained... all ingredients added. The salad feeds 2 people. Also, I ordered the crab cake which was really good, and a bottle of Proseco. My friend order the mac and cheese, said it was ok, but the cheese was really sharp (taste wise). Would be a excellent choiceto hold a birthday or anniversary dinner Read more

Eclectic ambiance with good food that pleased the palate. I tried the Miami Spice 3 course dinner. The kale salad was... flavorful. The entree was amazing with perfectly seasoned lemon pepper chicken over creamy mashed potatoes and green beans. This was on a Feed Your Soul Sunday so my dinner companion and I also shared a shrimp and grits appetizer. Definitely one ofthe top 5 recipes I have had the opportunity to taste. The live R&B performances were a welcome addition to the evening. Thewaitstaff was also very attentive with multiple people helping. So much so that I forgot who our original waiter was at onepoint! A great place to celebrate a small birthday or have an intimate dinner. Read more
