I grade hard. To get above a three you have to do more than slap edible food on a plate at a reasonable price. My wife had a... simple ham and cheese omelet and me a simple short stack of pancakes. My pancakes were raw and mushy in the middle and cold sothe butter did not melt. The wife said her food was generic. So I tasted it. Absolutely tastes. Let's face it a nice place andacceptable service can not make up for below average food. We had to repeatedly ask for more coffee. At my age Mam and Sir arethe proper way of being addressesed at all times. The food was overpriced. Guess it has to be to pay for the decore. Read more

Today was my first time coming here and our server, Kadarryl (KD) made my experience wonderful! He was the most pleasant and... caring server I've had in a while! He made sure our food was great and was so friendly to talk too. He had great customerservice, this place is lucky to have him! Read more

A quaint French Country feel, and excellent service. It would be nice if there was heavy cream available instead of half and... half for the coffee to follow the theme. I had the Floridian omelet, and it was light and tasty. There's a bar in the frontpart of the restaurant, with wall mounted TV's that mar the otherwise quiet and tasteful atmosphere. Ask for a seat in the backof the restaurant if you don't like being accosted by the news and sports while dining. Other than that, it's a nice place tomeet for breakfast or lunch. Read more

My FAVORITE restaurant for breakfast/brunch in the Dayton area. We live out of State, but make sure to go when we are in town.... Service is spectacular, as well as the food. My favorite dish is the city grits, they are so good! Check them out and enjoy thefood, atmosphere, and spectacular service!! Read more

A decent place for breakfast with lot of options. The staff were nice and polite but the service was way slow on a Sunday... morning. I know that?s a busy time but I was a tad bit disappointed. Coming to the food: I had the Lobster Omelette (4/5). Mywife got the Lemon custard French toast (4.5/5). The city grits were good. The coffee was decent but not the hot chocolatethough. Overall a decent place but be prepared to wait. You can also join their waitlist on their website, which was a plus. Read more

So far the best breakfast I have had in Ohio. I got the California Veggie Benedict and it had vegetarian sausage which was... seriously delicious. The eggs Benny was cooked perfectly. I sat at the bar and even though she seemed to be stressed she wasstill patient, sweet and genuine. The dish came with a fresh fruit bowl and this truly is what impressed me the most. It wasactual freshly cut fruit. Mango, strawberry and watermelon. Every single place I've ever been that's had fruit bowls has beenpretty standard, like honeydew and cantaloupe-almost like it was previously sliced. But this place was fresh from the fruititself. I loved it so much. I also had 3 different flavored mimosas, lemon blueberry, apple pie and cranberry. All of them wereamazing. Don't miss this place you won't be disappointed. Read more

The wait was long because the restaurant was short-staffed, but nonetheless, our experience was great! The Mardi Gras omelette... was excellent w/ the hollandaise sauce. The carrot cake pancakes are UNREAL. You?ve GOT to try them. The mimosa was strong, justhow I like it. Great establishment, food and service. Read more
