This place has the best shawarma in the area. The mix shawarma plate gives a great variety of beef, chicken, and lamb each being... delicious. They offer plenty of choices for side dishes, salad, fries, rice, soup, all in generous portions. The restaurant isvery clean and the staff were all friendly and provided excellent service. Extremely reasonably priced menu! The place is alittle tucked away in a small strip mall, but wow if you want a fantastic meal, I highly recommend Shish Kabob! Read more

We were in town for the first time and decided to look for a halal restaurant to have our Iftar at (break our fast in the month... of Ramadan). We don?t go to restaurants that sell alcohol, so we made sure of that before going, and they told us that the foodis halal. Once we got there, we saw that it?s basically a huge place split into two. A market and a restaurant, as well as ahookah lounge next door. I?m not sure if the hookah area is accessible from the restaurant or not but they had signs up all overthe market for hookah related things. We got the House Platter, which basically contains all the different meats they prepareas well as grape leaves and falafel served on pita and a plate of rice. This was more than enough for the two of us. The foodwas delicious. We also got the Veggie Platter which consists of falafel, hummus, baba ghannouge, and labne. It also comes withpita bread. We were unable to eat this at the restaurant so we took it to go and ate it later at night. I know that usuallythese appetizers are served with olive oil on top. It was delicious but I?d probably prefer it to be less drenched in oil.Nevertheless, we were happy to have tried this restaurant. They offered baklava and knafeh for dessert, as well as a few otherthings that were in the fridge (Nutella filled/cream filled tiny crepe type dessert). We decided to try the knafeh since it wasdifferent than the one we usually have. The knafeh we?re used to is two crunchy layers with cheese in the middle. The one fromhere I believe is the na?ameh/nabulsi style, which is cheese that has a smooth layer on top. We enjoyed the knafeh, but probablyshould?ve taken it to go since we felt heavy afterwards. The restaurant was a bit on the chilly side, so the food got coldpretty quickly. Another couple who came to dine in also mentioned that it was a bit cold. The ground shish kabob was a bit onthe salty side. They only had fountain soda available at the time. The Pepsi was more on the runny/w Read more
