You won't see mention of the decades... old sourdough starter used and the focus on (as much as possible) locally sourced or foraged ingredients - but one taste andyou'll understand the magic before you. The wife and I made our first visit Stop50 Wood Fired Pizzeria. Our appetizer selection was Meatballs with fresh parmesan and... house made marinara ???????? We decided to get both of the "seasonal" pies. If you don't think pineapple belongs on pizza you'dprobably not be enthusiastic about having walnuts on one. BOTH of these featured creations had walnuts, no pineapple, and not aton of walnuts but the crunch and bitterness they brought to the party worked amazingly well and in my estimation was verygood. The Mrs. was intrigued by the Roasted Beach Banana (banana, drizzled with honey, topped with cinnamon and roasted on thewood fired oven) paired with house made Mulberry Gelato (she was impressed, and THAT my friends, is saying something). I had totry the Affogato, traditionally an espresso poured over gelato. However I suppose mine was a deconstructed version, of which Ipicked thier house made coffee gelato to pair with the espresso, which I dumped some on when it arrived at the table. Food?????????? We had an excellent experience last weekend with Riley. We were visiting from out of town and looking for a delicious meal and... this place delivered and beyond. Walking in, you can?t help but notice the fresh herbs growing in the planters out front. Thepatio area was welcoming and comfortable, but we chose to sit inside to get a view of the pizza oven at work. Riley was greatand suggested the season special - an heirloom tomato pizza with basil, walnuts, and light dressing. She made a great suggestionand swap for me and it was even better than I thought. This crust does not disappoint! Friendly staff. Rotating draft beer list. Always so good! The prosciutto was my fav this... time. We sat outside and had our wee dog along and it was ????. Service was slower than usual... but it is Mother's Day andthey were quite busy! Read more

Really liked this place. Have been meaning to try them for several years. The food was okay. We had the firecracker app, split a... salad, had two pizzas, a couple of beers, an espresso and splurged on a bottle of Barolo. $120+ tip. The fire in the firecrackerwas just a little hot sauce. Needed more pop, maybe some pepper flakes or sambal etc. The pizzas were also a little bland. Theservice however was great! Very friendly and accommodating. And the place itself is very cute. We love Stop 50! We couldn?t wait for them to open for the 2022 season! The owners are passionate, lovely people dedicated to... providing a quality dining experience! We found this place while driving home to WI after a family vacation and our party of 4 was very impressed with our lunch. We... appreciated the fantastic, efficient and attentive service from Megan. The firecracker appetizer was surprisingly spicy but nottoo spicy for our kids to enjoy. The salad is seriously huge! Our pizzas were delicious; flavorful chewy crust with a bit ofchar, simple tomato sauce and quality cheese, on par with any other high end pizza joint we've had.
