This is the first time we tried this place during our visit to Michigan city and we were not disappointed. It is a decent size... restaurant with cozy interiors. The staff is great with hospitality and so is the food. We ordered Chicken burritos and veganfajitas. The portion size was great for the price we paid and tasteful too. They had all different kinds of margaritas but Istuck with Classic one and very pleased with the quantity and quality. Parking is ample in front of this place. Food was amazing, kind of small portions for a Mexican restaurant but still amazing none the less. My wife had margaritas and... said they were great, I just had beer, plenty of Mexican options for beers. Our server was what made the experience fantastic.Unfortunately I forget her name because I?d love to give her props but she was super helpful, made great suggestions, was bubblyand happy and just a pleasure. A fantastic place for authentic Mexican food and ambience. Great food and service. Have nice vegetarian options too. Tried their... Enchiladas that were served with beans and mexican rice. Free refills for the soft drinks and free nachos to begin with!! My husband and I absolutely love Mexican food and we are very particular about the Mexican food that we eat. We are from Chicago... and we have had some of the best Mexican food in this world. But El Cantarito MC is delicious! I absolutely love this place! Themenu is diverse and I love their Taco Al Pastor. Several of my husbands coworkers have been telling him to try this restaurantfor a long time and finally we did and we are blown away at the service, the prices, and the quality of the food. You get a niceportion of meat in your tacos and your burritos. I have nothing to complain about. The customer service is phenomenal. When Iplace the order over the phone, the Young lady who answers the phone, is always pleasant and always Helpful. Spanish is not myfirst language so sometimes when I can?t pronounce a certain item on the menu, she always helps me and she is polite about it.Not one time have they messed up on my order. I won?t name the Mexican restaurant, but they literally forgot half my order andjust left it sitting there by the window, when I came back to get it. No I?m sorry, no it?s on the house, nothing. So we leftthem alone and will be getting our Mexican food from El Cantarito MC. I highly recommend this place. They are also open for dinein but due to the pandemic we are more comfortable eating at home and just going to pick up our call in order. So far we havehad their tacos, nachos, and burritos, and they have all been so tasty! I wish we had tried them when they first opened up, butI remember how busy they were (and still are pretty busy all the time) so that lets you know that they have good food and theirservice is awesome!
