Great spot for an affordable family-style Italian dinner! Check their website if you aren't familiar with a trattoria... it's... not super fancy Italian fare but it is family friendly, and delicious! If staying at 4411 hotel this is really close by.Everything we had was great and packaged neatly for our to-go orders. Really liked Jo's Special: angel hair with veggies (longfresh green beans, baby carrots, broccoli, corn) and chunks of seasoned chicken breast in a light cream sauce. Plenty of veg inthis dish, which is refreshing because a lot of places advertise a vegetable pasta but you end up with a disappointing 3 stemsof broccoli. No worries here! Would have taken pics but honestly I ordered it two nights in a row and scarfed it down both timesit was so tasty. My toddler loved the rigatoni bolognese. Orders came with a soft and tasty buttery rosemary bread. Give them atry and I'll be sure to return next time I pass thru Michigan City. Read more
I really love the food. The fettuccine alfredo with chicken was outstanding. I also ordered ravioli but was a bit disappointed... when I found 6-8 of them in the take out cartoon for $9.95. Nonetheless, I'll be back but will be ordering noodles goingforward. Read more

This place is simply the best family-owned trattoria I've been in in the United States. We had an awesome lunch on the picnic... table outside with our dog. They brought the food out to us and the service and the food were both 5 star! Read more
