There was hardly anyone seated when we came in and the hostess truly struggled to seat us. It took about five minutes. Then it... kept getting worse. Our server was Mermaid Persephone, what a joke. She neglected our table and kept talking to this oldercouple behind us. Never asked if we needed anything. As soon as she greets you she wants your drink order and your meal order soshe doesn?t have to come back. Oh and then she was discussing her worker comp, mermaid tails, and more with this older couple.She never even came to get our card because she couldn?t wait to talk about her adventures. The waitress I think was awesome but the food was a bit old the ribs weren't hot nothing on my plate was! The wings are waaaay... too salty . . . BEWARE! KEEP IT MOVING PAST THIS PLACE. I would give this establishment a 1 piece if it were not for the kind Host at the front door(younger guy in glasses, new more... about the specials and food then the manager and server) also the mushrooms although over fried were very tasty. Now on to myoverall experience, Lack luster at best. The fries were soaked in Grease and very oily. the burger looked great but lacked inthe flavor town department the burger tasted like water, as if it were froze and quickly dethawed! my son had a grilled cheeseand the cheese had that old cheese taste(kind of sour). The most disappointing thing was that the manager did not know whatgrade steaks they served. I asked what grade they were, he asked what I meant so I responded "USDA choice, Prime?" he said and Iquote "yes they are from the U.S." Very sad response from a steak house. Read more
Probably one of the better spots here in Michigan city, I ordered a T-bone steak and it was great but the filet portion was so... tiny it was almost non existent; further more they offer on their menu a filet mignon - petite, as it reads so I got tothinking?.. I think they cut the filets off of the t-bones and sell them as a separate dish. It was delicious don?t get me wrongbut it just wasn?t what it should be. Service was good and our waitress was attentive with a friendly atmosphere. I would returnif I was near by. Read more
I've only been here once and thought it was good. I had to some kind of country fried chicken with mashed potatoes and gravy. It... was pretty darn good. My wife thought it had a little to much pepper but I thought it was spot on. Read more
Paid over $17 for a few strips of chicken and a few pieces of steak and a whole green bell pepper obviously, this is sad!! When... you go to the restaurant to sit down and eat the proportions looks nothing like this, this was a to go order I am reallydisappointed and I feel like I wasted my money! Full and varied menu. Everything from steaks, to salads, to hot buns, to Texas sized carrot cake. Texas Corral caters to the 20... to 55 year old crowd with delicious food they crave. Me being 65 went to boost up my protein with their 12 once sirloin. Pricesseemed like a bargain to me. I think I might have spent 60 at the grocery store for all the ingredients.
