This is my favorite Italian beef in Michigan City proper. The meat is tender, the gravy is subtly flavorful, and the bread is... dense enough to hold up. I've tried the other popular local spots and prefer this version. Beyond that it's a prettystraightforward burger and hot dog spot, but it's definitely worth stopping in. I liked the looks of the place. But my burger was dry and overwhelmed by a giant bun. It was a bbq burger, but there wasbonly a... dab of sauce. The guy who took our order never even stood up and seemed totally bored. I will say my fries were fresh and tasty. Read more
Not a good food experience. Buns were not fresh. Hamburgers were dripping liquids and looked undercooked. Unappetizing and fell... apart. Hot dog for my kiddo was fine. Too much gone wrong to even try letting them correct the issues. We headed to McDonald?s. Read more

We were traveling, about to jump on the toll-road and head west, but decided to look for food before committing to over-priced... toll plaza food. And we are so glad we did. I loved the quick, but not fast-food, service. The staff was great and the placewas clean. I had the chili dog, and it was SO good. Fries were yummy. Great food taste amazing I had the rueben with fries, and a triple xxx root beer. Nice people the made me laugh a couple of time... before I even got the food too. Nice little place to grab a bite. Food seemed good quality just a little messy when you eat it.which some people Iove, but it didn't bother me whatsoever. I liked I and would most likely stop here again when I'm in thearea.
